HARRY REID SHOULD NOT ONLY RESIGN
Natural Born Conservative ^ | January 12, 2010 | Larry Walker Jr

Posted on 01/12/2010 8:16:03 PM PST by NaturalBornConservative

In the wake of Harry Reid's racist thought pattern coming to light, countless Negroes (I consider myself to be Black) have come out of the woodwork to proclaim that what Reid said is 'only the truth'. Numerous Republicans have weighed in only to state that 'nothing should be done' while pointing out that if it were a Republican who made such remarks, Democrats would be 'screaming' for his resignation. Why are Negroes racing to Reid's rescue? And why aren't Republicans screaming for his resignation?

It is my opinion that Harry Reid should not only resign his post as Majority leader, Harry Reid should resign from the U.S. Senate. Harry Reid should be driven to the outskirts of town and booted out on his ass. Hell, Harry Reid should be exiled from the United States of America.

How dare you judge people by the color of their skin. How dare you judge people because their dialect differs from yours. How dare you Harry Reid. I have lost all respect for Democrat party, for watered down Republicans, and for so called Civil Rights Activists. All of you who practically broke your necks racing to the support of a true racist are a joke. You're not Civil Rights Activists, you're ass kissers. You know who and what you are.

And if you think I am writing this in defense of Barack Obama, you're sadly mistaken. As far as I'm concerned Obama can pack his bags and go serve coffee to Reid in exile. You sir are nothing but a coward.

I AM SCREAMING. I AM MAD AS HELL. I WANT THIS MAN OUT, AND I WANT HIM OUT NOW.

Yeah. Dodd resigns and he avoids prosecution and jailtime for screwing the American taxpayers in plain view.

With all due respect, I have to disagree. I’m going to use an MMA anology here. When your opponent is rocked, then you pounce and go for the finish. You take your opponent out when the opportunity to do so presents itself. If you let your opponent hang on and linger, then he may recover and take you out. What doesn’t kill you makes you stronger, as they say.

If the GOP cannot win a senate seat in Nevada in this political climate, then what does that say about the GOP?

I just want to illustrate my point about taking your opponent out when you have the chance a bit further.

Using another sports analogy, because this is a competition after all, I will go with football.

When a team employs the zone defense to protect a lead, it essentially allows the other team to gain as many yards as it wants, but the goal is to prevent the touchdown. However, once the opposing team gets into the red zone, their chance of scoring that TD are very high.

There is no telling how close an election versus Harry Reid would be, or what shady tactics the democrats WILL employ, or how many votes they will find in various car trunks AFTER the election. Do we even know for a 100% certainty that an election will occur in 2010? What if illegal aliens are given the right to vote between now and then?

When you have the opportunity to take your opponent out, then you take your opponent out!

When you play not to lose, then, generally speaking, you do not win.

This game is for keeps.

"It is my opinion that Harry Reid should not only resign his post as Majority leader, Harry Reid should resign from the U.S. Senate. "

He will...sometime between the time healthcare is passed, and the November election...he's probably going to lose that anyway.

But, I'm sure an obamachute (golden parachute) awaits his resignation with some cush job in the administration. I mean, after all, ol' Harry is the one who talked the kenyan into running for president anyway. He may even know all about obama's birth certificate and using it - chicago style - to keep obammo in line...who knows.

Ol' Harry E. Newman gets up before the microphones with that "What? Me Worry?" look on his face, you just know that there is something cooking behind the scenes...after all "behind the scenes" is harry and obama's favorite playground.

They should redo that Tom Hanks movie and call it, "When Harry Met Barry"..it would be a hit, I'm sure.

Harry is safe...and harry knows it. I say lets just step back and watch the fun for now.

On Trent Lott's resignation.

"He had no alternative... If you tell ethnic jokes in the backroom, it's that much easier to say ethnic things publicly. I've always practiced how I play." - Harry Lyings**theel Reid (2002)

The media is giving Reid a pass because after all, these comments about negro folks' dialects were made in private, y'see.

Reid’s biggest sin is being a Dumbocrat. This gaffe shouldn’t even be on the radar except for the hypocrisy of the Dumbocrats.

Dumbocrats will give blacks goodies. Republicans will give blacks respect. Guess which one blacks almost all go for?

Not that blacks don’t have their own heapin’ helpin’ of hypocrisy, too. Just listen to educated folks of a darker hue, who should really know better, ribbing each other with the moniker “ni**er” and worse.

No easy outs for Rats like Harry.

Good Grief. How many were screaming for Armey to resign over his Barney Frank comment? BTW I thought Armeys comment was hilarious. I want Reid gone but I do not want him removed in the name of Political Correctness and neither should any others who are conservative. When the day comes in this nation when you are punished for such then the nation is soon to fall. I don't like Reid and I want him out on a legit issue and this is not one. It's Political Correctness AKA Cultural Marxism and the GOP needs to distance itself from calling for Reid's resignation based on his comment.

Obama shucks and jives as only a corrupt politician can do when talking down to black voters. He totally made up his own history to be "down with the struggle" (faked accent and all).

Obama at Selma, Alabama (2007):

"So don't tell me I don't have a claim on Selma, Alabama. Don't tell me I’m not coming home to Selma, Alabama."

From Barack's Selma speech:

...something happened back here in Selma, Alabama. Something happened in Birmingham that sent out what Bobby Kennedy called, “Ripples of hope all around the world.” Something happened when a bunch of women decided they were going to walk instead of ride the bus after a long day of doing somebody else's laundry, looking after somebody else's children. When men who had PhD’s decided that's enough and we’re going to stand up for our dignity. That sent a shout across oceans so that my grandfather began to imagine something different for his son. His son, who grew up herding goats in a small village in Africa could suddenly set his sights a little higher and believe that maybe a black man in this world had a chance.

What happened in Selma, Alabama and Birmingham also stirred the conscience of the nation. It worried folks in the White House who said, “You know, we're battling Communism. How are we going to win hearts and minds all across the world? If right here in our own country, John, we're not observing the ideals set fort in our Constitution, we might be accused of being hypocrites.” So the Kennedy’s decided we're going to do an air lift. We're going to go to Africa and start bringing young Africans over to this country and give them scholarships to study so they can learn what a wonderful country America is.

This young man named Barack Obama got one of those tickets and came over to this country. He met this woman whose great great-great-great-grandfather had owned slaves; but she had a good idea there was some craziness going on because they looked at each other and they decided that we know that the world as it has been it might not be possible for us to get together and have a child. There was something stirring across the country because of what happened in Selma, Alabama, because some folks are willing to march across a bridge. So they got together and Barack Obama Jr. was born. So don't tell me I don't have a claim on Selma, Alabama. Don't tell me I’m not coming home to Selma, Alabama.

I’m here because somebody marched. I’m here because you all sacrificed for me. I stand on the shoulders of giants. I thank the Moses generation; but we've got to remember, now, that Joshua still had a job to do. As great as Moses was, despite all that he did, leading a people out of bondage, he didn't cross over the river to see the Promised Land. God told him your job is done. You'll see it. You'll be at the mountain top and you can see what I’ve promised. What I’ve promised to Abraham and Isaac and Jacob. You will see that I’ve fulfilled that promise but you won't go there.

- Barack Obama - March 2007

Timeline:

1960 (President is Ike, VP Richard Nixon runs against Senator John Kennedy for the presidency)

Ann Dunham is 18. Her family moves to Honolulu, Hawaii. Ann begins classes at the University of Hawaii.

- She meets Barack Obama Sr. in a Russian-language class. Barack Obama Sr. is a foreign student from Kenya, who has a magnetic personality. Barack Obama Sr. is very opinionated, talkative and passionate. The two start dating.

- Ann tells her parents about her African boyfriend and they invite him for dinner.

January 20, 1961 JFK is sworn into the presidency.

February 2, 1961: Ann Dunham and Barack Obama Sr. get married in Maui in a discreet ceremony. Nobody is invited. At the time of the wedding Ann is already three months pregnant with Barack Obama Jr.

August 4, 1961: Barack Obama Jr. is born. Ann is eighteen. She drops out of college after one semester in the University of Hawaii.

1964

Ann files for divorce from Barack Obama Sr. and he signs the papers.

The Selma to Montgomery marches were three marches in 1965 that marked the political and emotional peak of the American Civil Rights Movement.

They were the culmination of the voting rights movement in Selma, Alabama, launched by Amelia Boynton and her husband. Boynton brought many prominent leaders of the American Civil Rights Movement to Selma, including James Bevel, who initiated and organized the march; Martin Luther King, Jr.; and Hosea Williams.

The first march took place on March 7, 1965 — "Bloody Sunday" — when 600 civil rights marchers were attacked by state and local police with billy clubs and tear gas. The second march took place on March 9. Only the third march, which began on March 21 and lasted five days, made it to Montgomery, 54 miles (87 km) away.

---- Mr. Obama, YOU LIE.

At least Hillary didn't claim that she marched and owed her entire world to the city.

Be careful what you wish for. Harry Reed is an idiot. But if he were to resign from Majority Leader next inline and eying the spot is Chuck “You” Schummer.

Yeah... the Pubs should keep themselves just to pointing out the Rat hypocrisy and saying they oppose Reid on broader principle where this incident doesn’t amount to a spit in the ocean.

Same goes for an Obama impeachment, at least until the Pubs get the House. One failing hairplug later and we would get a President Pelosi!

If I were a GOP Senator, I would make the following remark, just in passing:

Although the 2010 election in November seems to be going now in our favor, we are hoping some dark-skinned candidates will enter for the Dems, to give us further advantage.

Harry Reid is not merely guilty of using an n-word, he used it in private while discussing politics (and swaying the voting public) AFTER he'd demanded the resignation of a Republican Senator who in NO WAY was praising the Democrat institution of segregation.

Reid's downfall comes for his own phony outrage and racist leanings. If he can stand tall and say "we don't want that in a Senate Majority Leader" then he HAS NO CHOICE BUT TO RESIGN.

Since when does Barack Obama get to determine if black people have been wronged by the comments or if "it's okay now"? Does Barry Soetoro speak for all black Americans? I know he's already lied to them. His word isn't worth much.

It is sheer idiocy to think, imagine, demand or wish for Harry Reid to resign from the senate over the remarks he made about Obama.

Now were we talking about the BRIBE he made to Ben Nelson for his vote that would be a different matter.

Harry Reid is heading for a loss in November. I’m almost prepared to guess that he’ll likely decide not to run for reelection, once he’s secured an a “post-senate cushy position” for all his loyal work.
