My daughter is at Clemson and attended this town hall meeting. She says that 9 out of 10 times he knew the name of the ranting participants that got a microphone or their first cousin. But he was born and raised near Central so that may not be such a big deal. But as a politician he is skilled and by the end of the meeting most of the ranters and screamers were polite and docile.
That may be one reason he gets reelected - like many politicians he has a skill that makes folks think he is connected with them.

I was there, front row. I was ready to go for the jugular, but Lindsey made alot of sense last night. He announced from the get go that the cap and trade bill is a dead issue. Not going anywhere, he said. I also think he learned his lesson on amnesty. Must secure the borders first as that system is totally broken. Is all for getting social security cards and drivers licenses fitted with a biometric, non-altering device. Very strong stance on the “criminalization” of the war on terror and on stopping Iran. My two friends, both skeptics before the meeting, came away feeling much better. If anyone else was there, please give your insight on the Sotomayor issue.

Oh, yeah, because we all know that he never lied before and that he is a flaming conservative don't we?/SAR
People who listen to weasels like this and believe them when they lie through their a** deserve to be slaves in the totalitarian nation that is coming up with people Like Graham in charge. The thing is though, people like me and other conservatives who aren't taken in by the lies don't deserve it.

I am as conservative as they come. But I am also a realist. The man is no fool. Yes, I’ve been duped by politicians before, and I got angry with some of Graham’s stances. He is not a “flaming” conservative and he is a politician, but his stances on national defense are spot on. As is the stance on the EPA and the IRS.

I heard that the Kool-Aid they served had an odd ‘peachy’ flavor to it.
