WASHINGTON -- A normal, compassionate human ex posed for the first time to the debauchery that remains of John Edwards' dishonest life and career could be forgiven for feeling a little sorry for the pathetic cad.
The world now knows just what a self-absorbed lunatic he is married to. He has dealt with terrible tragedy in his life. He juggles two families.
Opulently ensconced in one of the Two Americas he told us so much about, he built himself and one of his families a 28,000-square-foot mansion fit for a king, with a built-in squash court.
But he is exiled to the doghouse.
He is a failure as a father and a husband and even managed to disgrace the business of being a politician, which is pretty hard to do these days

Yah, completely disgraced himself with this one. I doubt anyone sees him as an attractive rogue like the image some cheating men get away with.
Kerry chose Edwards as his running mate knowing full well what Edwards was...evidently Kerry didn’t see anything wrong with his ethics and morals. In fact, he thinks Edwards is a swell fellow...compared to his own behavior through the years; Edwards’ problem was simply getting caught.
The left have neither morals or ethics so it would be no problem to elect a person with no moral compass as long as they follow the party line.
Showing just how evil they really are, every liberal I know still thinks he is a great man that just made a little mistake.
He is a Lawyer and a Democrat after all.
Another article tells us that Edwards has turned up in Haiti to help with ... whatever. What skill does he bring? How did he get there? He is just using up space.
And Elizabeth Edwards was just as complicit in the deceit, lies and coverup. Her lust for power overcame whatever pride and sense of decency she may have ever had.
My favorite line - they have no morals, ethics or integrity.

I am generally WAY too trusting of strangers, but the very first time I heard this guy open his mouth sirens started going off.
There is something about his honey sweet southern drawl that seems thoroughly disingenuous to me, but I still cannot put my finger on exactly what it is.
