Fears about President Barack Obama's health care overhaul increased significantly in December, according to a new poll released as the legislation's future hangs in doubt.

The monthly poll out Tuesday from the nonpartisan Robert Wood Johnson Foundation measured consumers' views of how a remake would affect their own finances and access to care, among other things.

It was conducted between Nov. 28 and Dec. 20, in the run-up to the Senate's Christmas Eve passage of sweeping health care legislation that brought Congress closer than ever before to enacting a comprehensive revamp of the nation's medical system. That effort was cast into turmoil last week when a GOP victory in Massachusetts' special Senate election robbed Democrats of their filibuster-proof supermajority.

See! The public isn’t that dumb. The dems did everything they could to prevent the public from learning what this bill will do them, but the public found out anyway.
Both the dems and their cheering section in the media are bad for this country.

All of a sudden the MSM is reporting this. But if Scott had lost, this would stay hidden. Reprehensible.

Fears about President Barack Obama's health care overhaul increased significantly in December, before decreasing markedly on Jan 21 of this year. Presidential spokedork Robert Gibbs attributes the sudden decline in fear to the public's trust in the Lord High Obama, and thanks the public for their confidence.

We should start calling the "Kidney Stone Bill", cause it feels the same way when it passes!

Gibbs and Dean will probably say that this poll is more poof that the people want Obamacare, as was Brown’s election.

obama's war on seniors See the links in post 43-46 and on the last page.

Woof, woof, let granny eat dog food...spoof on 'let them eat cake'.

Expanding support for families balancing work with caring for elderly relatives with a $102.5 million Caregiver Initiative adding $52.5 million in funding to Department of Health and Human Services caregiver support programs that provide temporary respite care, counseling, training, and referrals to critical services. The administration says the extra funding will allow nearly 200,000 additional caregivers to be served and 3 million more hours of respite care to be provided. It also adds $50 million to programs that provide transportation help, adult day care, and in-home services, such as aides to help seniors bathe and cook, help which eases the burden for family members and helps seniors stay in their homes.
