WICHITA, Kan. — A man who said he killed prominent Kansas abortion provider Dr. George Tiller in order to save the lives of unborn children was convicted Friday of murder.
The jury deliberated for just 37 minutes before finding Scott Roeder, 51, of Kansas City, Mo., guilty of premeditated, first-degree murder in the May 31 shooting death.

Scott is a believer, and he saved lives, Killing babies is murder. Killing the murderer is justified. He has more guts than me but if tomorrow I only had 2 weeks to live, killing a "tiller" might make me braver. God even forgives murder in tiller case. According to the British during the revolutionary war we were murderers. Scott was even more justified because of babies innocence.

The hypocrisy about this subject abounds. Frankly, I don’t know why people like you are even members here. You’re obviously pro-abortion and your objection to statist control of our lives ends with your pocketbook, if it does at all.
He stood up for the innocents...most others stand by him in theory but do not have the moral clarity and courage to defy sinful and immoral laws.

Human babies are human life. Tiller reveled in his abbatoir for years taking their lives.
The US has gone to war a few times to stop butchery. For the most part, we then welcmoe home our heroes for killing our enemies.
There is not a bit of difference between a hero who kills a baby butcher and a hero who kills a confederate rebel, a Nazi or an al qaeda. It was a crime to kill a rebel one second before hostilites began in the civil war and a heroc action one second after.
Yada yada yada, I know all that. What I’m saying is where was the defense bar? Roeder had lousy representation. The public defender was poorly prepared and not forceful or dynamic in pressing the prosecution or the court. I doubt if his jury selection was any better. His representation was pathetic, perhaps by design.
But before all that, before Roeder even shot Tiller, the state and the people of KS failed miserably to do anything about Tiller. Kathleen Sibelius and her rat machine, elected by the people of KS, made sure Tiller wasn’t convicted during his trial. They set the stage for this. Now people here, people who abhor the control the State (meaning government as a whole) is trying to force upon us in Washington and in many state capitols, want to see the state put Roeder to death.
It sickens me to see conservatives speak with such stupidity and hypocrisy (I don’t mean you - I haven’t seen your other posts on this subject, if there are any, so I don’t know the fullness of your opinion, but I’ve seen some others that are beyond galling coming from so-called conservatives). I will give 100:1 odds that if some thugs kidnapped or threatened their loved one’s life - such as a terrorist or drug kidnappers - they would beat them to death if they didn’t tell where the family member was being kept and feel fully justified, even though others would argue that s/he didn’t have the right to take the law iinto their own hands blah blah blah. GMAFB.
