WICHITA, Kan. — A man who said he killed prominent Kansas abortion provider Dr. George Tiller in order to save the lives of unborn children was convicted Friday of murder.
The jury deliberated for just 37 minutes before finding Scott Roeder, 51, of Kansas City, Mo., guilty of premeditated, first-degree murder in the May 31 shooting death.

But let me also say this about the question that so fascinates you and a couple others.
Traditionally we have created armies to do the dying for us...for righteous causes. It appears that this righteous cause of protection of children has not yet reached the level of the state “taking care of business” for us. So, it is heroes who are left to do it for us.
States like Nazi Germany never did come to grips with their own horrors...it took armies from outside to do it for them.
You've given no view worthy of a rational person. I believe most people here are opposed to abortion. You chose to excoriate them for not condoning cold-blooded, premeditated murder. Now you are unable to answer a simple question whose ramifications are obvious.
Would you commit such a murder? Yes or no. Are you a murderer at heart, simply one who likes to encourage murder in others, or one of the rest of us?

As one of those American soldiers who has murdered other human beings in ostensible defense of the likes of you, let me note that your comparison of our sacrifices to this “hero” in your mind is grotesque and morally bankrupt in the extreme. That was a given. He killed one of their own. But one thing they can’t change, Dr. Tiller will never murder another unborn or partially born innocent human being. And Dr. Tiller is in hell where he belongs for eternity.
Probably pro abortion. Does that sound good to you?

The news story yesterday said the judge considered and denied the defense team’s attempt to put in a jury instruction to consider a lesser crime. The jury did not have that option.
The could and likely will be a point of an appeal.
Vengeance is the Lords’ not mans’. Am I glad that Tiller is gone? Yes frankly I am. Do you know why I would perdonally and why you personally did not and would not have killed him?
Because we both know that it was murder and that murder is wrong.
Evil is tearing apart babies in abbatoirs. Evil is sending millions of humans to the gulags. Evil is rounding up millions in death camps.
Evil is NOT killing a Nazi or Commie or Turk or murderer of human children.
So using your logic, the killing of an abortionist is one of the best things that one can do. How many have you killed? How many children have you saved?

Our laws are so criminal on this issue, from my point of view, the law is protecting the criminals and murdering, sometimes torturing to death, the innocents.
This is the sort of thing that happens when there is no justice.
I wouldn’t do it myself, but I’d vote ‘not guilty’ if on a jury.
