Thanks... I wasn’t thinking of state gov’t donations and couldn’t figure the Kasich thing out. She’ll do the same possibly for Perry in Texas.

If you add up all the numbers SarahPAC raised around 2.3 million last year.

I keep reading she's given McCain $5,000, does anyone know if that's the correct figure?

If it is, the 1%ers are b*tching about a tiny amount of the 2 mil she raised.

She’s doing wonderfully, and seemingly without trying.

Have no idea. Never bothered to verify.

Giver her $10K to John Kasich, a $5K donation to her former runningmate seems paltry to me...lol.

I am VERY pleased to find out she gave 10 grand to Kasich. I really like him. People need to stop whining about the money she gave to McCain. He was her running mate, she said from day 1 she would always support him. People have to get a grip. She will always have a special place in her heart for McCain, she will never trash him. As crappy as his advisers treated her and even McCain for that matter, she has shown that she is a class act. The people of Arizona will decide who should win. Even Hayworth, asked about Sarah endorsing McCain, only had nice things to say about her. Perhaps they spoke on the phone and wished him luck as well. I hope Kasich wins, he is in a tight race right now with Strickland so Kasich winning would be really great

Yeah, I’m thinking she might have already given Perry money too(just a guess). I know some don’t like Perry but I do and I hope he wins. I can’t stand Kay Bailey Hutchinson

Thanks... Makes sense now as Kasich’s isn’t a federal race thus not the same limitations. I suspect she’ll dump some money on Perry in Texas if she already hasn’t do so when she shows up to endorse him on Feb. 7.

John Kasich has always been one of my favorites. In fact, I long ago wrote him a very nice letter when he was writing the budgets as as young congressman and I received an equally nice letter in return. In the letter, I told him that I thought he would go far in politics and sure enough, a few years later, he made an unsuccessful run for the nomination, but at least he tried.

Now he’s running for the governorship of his state and I hope he wins. I have a little money set aside to donate to candidates I believe in and John Kasich is one of those people, along with Marco Rubio, to name two.

Like you, I am thrilled Sarah is backing John Kasich with Sarah PAC money!!! You’re also right, that people need to get a grip and those who continue to gripe about her support for her former running mate just want to gripe and take pot shots at her. It’s old news.

I’ve seen Kasich on Fox News many times. He is one of my favorites. Fiscal Conservative, stand up guy. I hope that Sarah gave money to Marco Rubio too. I really like him and I really want him to win. Charlie Crist makes my skin crawl. People really need to get over this McCain stuff, after all, who decides who wins in Arizona, Sarah or the people of Arizona. Sarah will always be loyal to McCain so people should just get over it already and move on. Sarah is a loyal person, she will never abandon her support for McCain, that is just the kind of person she is

John Kasich is a good man, a fiscal hawk and solid guy all around. I hope he kicks the Dems out of the Ohio state house. A great guy to be on the VP short list if he does, just sayin.... :)

If Sarah’s endorsement can swing the election to McCain, then let’s put Sarah in EVERY state! How about THAT?

No need for campaigns!

Just Sarah’s endorsement!

Yeah, I always wonder, how come that endorsement that Sarah gave didn’t help Hoffman win, or have people forgotten how she endorsed Hoffman while others in the GOP endorsed Scazzafava..Its not the endorsement that makes someone win, its the person. If people want to vote for McCain, that is their choice. Sarah isn’t putting a gun to anyone’s head and saying “You better vote for McCain” its an endorsement which doesn’t mean squat

Yes, and Mittens now has 150,000 Facebook followers. Another 1.1 million and he will catch Sarah.

People jump all over candidates and politicians for their endorsements of other candidates as though it literally means that the endorser is endorsing every position of the endorsed candidate, which is nonsense. In politics, politicians most often endorse one another out of friendship and a shared politcal belief, but that doesn;t mean a line by line belief.

I see Jim DeMint being trashed here for endorsing Mitt Romney in ‘08, for crying out loud, and that seems to me like it’s so damn silly, since it’s not an accurate reflection on Jim DeMint, the staunch conservative. I mean, look at DeMint’s votes and actions, not his endorsement. Sheesh.
