Sarah is between a rock and a hard place. McCain is the one who brought her onto the national stage. I don’t envy her position. McCain has a pair, asking her to endorse him. She would look ungrateful. After the backstabbing she got from his handlers, I’m thinking she is a graceful lady.

I’m like Rush.

I don’t Twitter and I don’t Facebook.

I don’t need that nonsense.

Here's at least a partial list of 2H '09 SarahPAC campaign donations:

Doug Hoffman for Congress -- $5,000
Tom Rooney for Congress -- $1,000
Coburn for Senate -- $2,500
Marsha Blackburn for Congress (2 donations) -- $3,500
Rob Portman for Senate -- $2,500
Schmidt for Congress -- $1,000
Friends of John Thune -- $2,500
Richard Burr for Senate Committee -- $2,500
Michelle Bachmann for Congress (2 donations) -- $3,500
Hatch Election Committee -- $1,000
Grassley Committee -- $2,500
Team Graham (Lindsey) -- $1,000
Jim DeMint for Senate -- $2,500
Rob Portman for Senate -- $1,000
Friends of Roy Blunt -- $2,500
McDonnell for Governor -- $2,500
Citizens for Mary Taylor -- $1,000
Kasich for Ohio -- $5,000

Links here and here for this info. There may be more, as this doesn't add up to the $60K+ that was in the press account.

Kasich is actually 10,000..don’t know why they have it at 5,000. Whose Tim Rooney? Some of these donations are older donations, but some of these seem quite new

Tom Rooney for Congress

I had not heard of him either. Looks like he has a nice family.

I am checking out his site now. I can see why Sarah might have been drawn to him. Says he is not a career politician. Has a strong military background..

Service To Our Country

After law school, Tara and I became commissioned officers in the United States Army, and we both served in the Army’s JAG Corps from 2000-2004. After being promoted to Captain, I became the Special Assistant U.S. Attorney for all of Fort Hood, the largest military installation in the United States.

From there, Tara, our son, and I packed up and moved to West Point, NY where I began teaching Constitutional, Criminal, and Military Law to hundreds of cadets at the United States Military Academy.

Helps out children who have been neglected, abused, abandoned. Sounds like a stand up guy

The contributions are only through 12/31/09. Perhaps Sarah PAC has given another $5,000. to John Kasich this year?

"I’ll put in that extra $5 to cover the loss of your donation."

Why don't you just send it directly to McCain or Graham and eliminate the middle man?

Possibly. Either way I am happy with her giving money to Kasich. And I’m liking this Toomey guy too

I think so, but I’m not an expert on this stuff.

I live in Ohio, and believe John Kasich is going to win this year. The last poll I saw had him up 9 over Ted Strickland. Kasich h as my vote.

It’s helpful to study the dates on the list. The early donations which we’ve seen before (Hatch, Graham and Portman are NOT new or additional). The new ones are later in the second half.- Just a point for clarification in case hysteria breaks out.

I'm sure not sending her anymore money when there's a chance it might end up being given to McCain.

Leading us to assume you gave money in the first place. I have my doubts.

I played it smart, never sent a dime, but sent an email promise of $1K if she announced her intent of a run as the Republican nominee for POTUS.

PS, if you pick Gingrich or McCain as VP, promise is null and void.

Lucky for you the 2012 elections are a ways off. You still have time to find a candidate willing to sell his influence to you for your $1000.
