Britain is facing a new Al Qaeda terror threat from suicide ‘body bombers’ with explosives surgically inserted inside them.
Until now, terrorists have attacked airlines, Underground trains and buses by secreting bombs in bags, shoes or underwear to avoid detection. But an operation by MI5 has uncovered evidence that Al Qaeda is planning a new stage in its terror campaign by inserting ‘surgical bombs’ inside people for the first time.

That is my greatest fear. Also car bombs can cause a lot of human losses, great psycholigical damage, and massive negative impact on the economy. Mass shooting is another mean for terrorists to use. We must be all stay very vigilant. The terrorist attacks do not have to be ordered organized, or carried by Al Qaeda or other terrorist groups but it can be carried by single individual terrorists, the so called "Lonely Wolf" terrorist.

Again at the end of that one year, we'd be better off in perpetuity, and all of the rogue regimes on the planet would be basket cases.

Frankly, at this point ,I’d be for a Hitler style assault and overrun their damn countries and take the oil away from ‘em. and send the survivors to concentration camps. Being nice to them will get us killed.

Bomb-sniffing dogs. Or rats, if you’re allergic to dogs. Rats have an extremely good sense of smell and can be trained to sniff out bombs. I saw a show on Animal Planet in which rats were trained to sniff out mines in Tanzania.

Yes, this would be like forcing a smoker on COPD to quit while giving up her oxygen bottle at the same time!!! Even on a "war footing" we couldn't come up with an atomic bomb until the collaborative (committee) effort actually found the formula which just happened to arrived on time only by blind dumb luck, not superior, focused, predictable intelligence!!!
And... If it's "all the same" to you, when we take delivery from Canada, we pay the bill to Canada!!! The fungible price in that situation has nothing to do with ANY terrorist nation or group!!! The price of refined gasoline has far more to do with crippling our own economy than punishing some feindish creeple people in the middle east.
They may be getting rich on the higher price, but the actual payment isn't coming from us and won't stop as fast as our economic system will stall out!
In other words we are far more vulnerable, far more quickly due to the price increase than they are in not being able to supply us. Furthermore, we are extremely more economically sensitive to refinery capacity due to boutique gasoline due to EnvironMentalist coerion than middle eastern terrorists are to any drop-off in demand from us when we get most of ours from Canada and Mexico and in the future from Brazil!!!
