Head’s up...a GOP RINO movement is afoote to nominate and coronate Mitt in the heart of his power base.
To: Virginia Ridgerunner; Diogenesis; Impy
That’s my main reason for opposing SLC’s bid, because it has the stench of a potential Slick Willard coronation. He buys and lies his way into the nomination, and Zero has no worries for getting reelected.

I would not mind SLC being the site of the GOP convention. The city has excellent convention facilities, people are friendly, and the state has been the reddest of the red state. Perhaps they should be be rewarded for that.

The other finalists will be announced early next week, and the winner will be selected in late summer after GOP officials visit each city. How stupid. To keep secret the other three venues so they can't get any support.
It's a finger to the wind with out all the proper information.
The GOP with this announcement has just declared they have sold out to socialist RINO Romney.

Since when does the location determine who the candidate will be? Man, usually I enjoy the mormon bashing threads just to see what people think and feel, but you guys are getting almost hysterical. Are you not aware that there is a process for nomination?

I have actually never know it to happen. I really dislike Romney, but I also trust the good people of Utah to be excellent hosts for conservatives of all stripes. I also love the idea of all those lefties who boycott conservative states to have to spend their money at the Mormon owned hotels and restaurants and have to hunt extra hard to get some weed.

Last time I checked, the 2002 SLC Olympics recorded a 56 million dollar profit. Not only that, but the two main guys charged with bribery before Mitt showed up, were aquitted of all charges. I believe that Los Angeles, Atlanta, and SLC all turned a profit. No candidate can come close to touching Romney in finance and business, but he will never get elected due to him not being a conservative.

Anger management is your friend. Try it. How do you know what my bigmouth can or cannot back up? Talk about throwing out accusations? I guess some people need to name call to feel tough. Good luck with that.

LOL! easy, :^) The point he was making is Salt Lake should not be judged for the proclivity of religion anymore than San Francisco is.

Answer post #12, you little n00b punk. Put up or shut up. You trolls come on here making slanderous accusations against Conservative FReepers in good standing and this website in general. I’ve had enough of you little Slick Willard kneepads brigades to last a lifetime. Your Socialist fraud idol doesn’t own this website, and we won’t be cowed by his paid hacks.
