The Obama administration projects the number of employees on the government payroll will grow to 2.15 million this year, reportedly making it the largest federal workforce in modern history and fueling criticism over the size of government.

I’m fairly tolerant, i think, on most things but this stuff enrages me to a degree it never would have 5 or 10 years ago. If somebody has the guts to make it the centerpiece of their campaign and articulates it well, there will be a lot of benefit to them , I’d bet. Am I not correct that Reagan signed a freeze on day 1? Plus the favorability of unions in general is at an all-time low, I’m betting that is a proxy for how people are feeling about public employees.

Over half the state is in a gubermint union.

I think that includes both.
Still short of the Utopian goal of one government employee for "0" civilians.
