DGA sounds Tea Party alarm (Democratic Governors Assoc.)

On the eve of the first National Tea Party Convention, the Democratic Governors Association blasted a dire fundraising e-mail to supporters, warning that the loosely organized movement has become a “truly dangerous” political force.

“These guys aren’t going away. They’ve proven they can raise millions in a matter of hours and they’re skewing elections across the nation,” wrote Colleen Turrentine, the DGA's finance director.

“Can you imagine the havoc they would wreak if they took office en masse?” Turrentine continued. “If they had their way, how many states would even stay in the U.S.?”

Medina was was born “Debra Parker” 47 years ago in the South Texas town of Orangedale. She is married to rancher Noe Medina.

Sadly, I think she will be a cog in the election wheel and draw off many hispanics. I see them praising her in my local newspaper.

Hope they ‘draw’ from Kay Hutchison. Perry isn't perfect but he's better than her.

I sure hope so because she is a loose cannon and doesn’t play fair or interact with people very well.

The curious thing is why they chose her?

I think there is more behind Medina than is public. When she first came out; there was absolutely nothing about her family. That to me is a red flag. I wrote her campaign about it and nothing from them; just a direction to her campaign site.

I don’t care for people who duck questions. They usually don’t tell the truth.

I am still curious as how they or whoever chose her why?

Sounds too much like a wild card like Obama and we all know how that turned out.

I am seeing Obama doing something crazy like giving $50,000 to each family in the country .... maybe from the leftover stimulus money, maybe printed, who knows from where, he can just spend it without worrying where it will come from. Then he might send a “teaser” of $10,000 to each family. Can you imagine the elation of the people. I would be willing to bet that even some of the teaparty supporters would think twice about turning down that money. Then Obama could say, “vote for the conservatives and you loose the remaining $40,000 still owed to you.”

I suppose, according to Ms. Turrentine, that the election fraud engaged in by her party in '06 and '08 wasn't "skewing" any races at all!

Of course, the big difference is that the 'Rats were all too frequently violating election laws blatantly and without consequence, while the current Tea Party movement does not promote lawlessness at all.

This movement appeared after a rant by Rick Santelli. I was watching CNBC at the time... and trust me - he didn't know what he was starting - none of us did. Even the traders on the floor were surprised and clapping.

There wasn't a "plan"... People are sick of lying democrats and their fake letters to the editor, their fake letters to their own people and endless bull. The tea party movement is going to grow - because it's REAL.
