Reno, Nevada took the runner-up slot and Billings, Montana grabbed the bronze. Riverside and Bakersfield in California were numbers four and ten, respectively.

On the other end of the spectrum, in spite of being a hub for thirsty college students, Boston is the nation’s “least drunk” city, the magazine found. Three of America’s teetotaler cities were in the New York metropolitan area, with the city itself receiving an A-.

This is absurd. I have seen tons of excessive drinking in Boston and not as much in CA. Who does these crappy “studies?”

Probably funded by Obami Commies for $2 million!

#5 Austin, #7 San Antonio, and #8 Lubbock, Texas. Austin, I can see with UT and all the Keep Austin Weird liberal tree hugger crowd. At the risk of being racist, San Antonio is full of illegals. But I don’t get Lubbock being on the list.

If I lived in Fresno, Ca. I'd be drinking lots too! Blah city, illegals galore and no jobs! Plus moron liberals who are running the state into poverty!

PS. Whatever happened with those poor central Ca. farmers having their water supply shut off by the enviro-marxists?

Have you ever been to Buttock, er, I mean Lubbock? There isn’t much else to do there.

San Antonio is a party town. Period. Even if they ran out all the illegals, we’d keep their fiestas. Next one is in April — come on down!

It also helps when you have about a dozen drive through Beer Barns just outside of town. It is like fast food.

If I had to live in the land of fruits and nuts, I’d drink, too.

I'd like to know what Lubbock was rated when it was a dry area.

this list is very flawed

Wolfforth isn't dry and they specialize in drive through liquor stores (Docs, Crossed Keys, Buddy's, The Cellar, Double T, etc) that cater to TTU students.
