I’m on the last post on left.
Hubby is a Marine getting to retire 2 JUN 2010. He and his church ‘rescued’ me while he was on a cruise to Thailand. Our refugee camp was there.
There is nothing in your posting here that indicates any of what you stated here and I didn’t read through your entire posting history to find out about you.
This is not a blog, it does not require pecker order, nobody thinks that they are superior to others. Your immigration status is not the issue. That is NOT the problem I’m having with you. It’s your arrogance that’s the issue.
Nobody said anything about being superior to others. I was a noob at one time too, as was everyone else on this forum. We lived with it.
Again, too many noobs are trolls bent on disrupting the forum and post things in all seriousness, like you did. The only reason that noobs should be careful is because they don’t have a history. If you were someone who had a well known posting history, we could tell if you were being sarcastic without the sarcasm tags.
It’s simple.
You aren’t.
Get it?

I mentioned my refugee status to help explain why when I write something it doesn’t always mean what I think. English is not my native tongue. Hubby says he’s surprised that there would be so much suspicion, anger and he suggested the number of posts thing because he thought that you folks were like in the military who go by rank and time in service to determine who is superior. (He says I’m like an E-1 Private here and you all are officers?) I guess its my fault for not knowing all there is about a forum and blog differences.. Maybe its the money contributed thing that creates more personable behavior(?). I’ll try out the picture thing and ask hubby to check my posts more often but he’s usually at the base during the day (at least he’s home). !!
Nope, we don’t go by rank here. Except for Jim Robinson, who owns the place.
We get infiltrators here, whose lone purpose is to disrupt. When someone is new, we tend to look more closely. There are trolls who have been here for years though. A large batch of them got zotted a couple years ago on what came to be known as the Bugzapper Thread. Some of them are still around, but they’re kept impotent by their shortage of numbers and loss of anonymity.
You could be a Martian for all we know or care. But it you're going to talk like a liberal when you have no posting history to indicate otherwise, people are going to presume that it's legitimate.
We can't see you over the internet and nothing in your use of the English language would indicate that English is not your native tongue. I've met plenty of native born US citizens who don't understand the things you're confused about either.
Again, it's not that anyone thinks they are superior to others. That's not what rank is all about anyway. Rank is about authority, not superiority. Just because someone has authority over you, doesn't mean they are better than you.

No, because I don't know or care who donates what to FR. The information is available but I really don't care.
For what it's worth, I don't even post comments like yours without indicating sarcasm (a simple /s will do). There's just too much chance of being misunderstood.
Here's the thing. Either this applies equally across the board, in other words we get to throw the Indians back on the Reservation, or is is racist and discrinatory. I don't care what the law says in regards to reservations, if the law doesn't include an equal clause for us to throw the Indians back onto Indian land then the 4th amendment is being violated and, yes, regardless of the law(remember Jim Crow laws)it is racist to do this.
It is past time to incorporate the Indian lands(the tribes would still own them)into the USA with the same laws applying to all Americans.

This is good advice which I’ll use everytime.
Off the record; We all know that no one can argue down the Constitution or Bill of Rights as it is in black & white and it is what it is. So one would have to wonder why you even care what igorant people say other than taking up bandwidth. Rush welcomes them and then shows them where they are wrong in sucah a way in which they’ll come back and are educated also. You have a saying that the “Truth shall set you free”. I think it’ll do even more for these trolls and whatever else you call them. /s
Beware, some of those you are dealing with are not "officers".
They may be skanky internet harridans with infections.
These diseased harridans see great conspiracies where in fact

You don’t have to use the /s for everything you post either.
You’re initial comment which started this firestorm was in post 7, which was......”Indians, blacks or anyone other than white are incapable of being racist.”
Now, that comment has been seriously made by liberals. There are many out there who actually believe that. So, when you make a comment like that, if you don’t really believe it, that is the time to use the /s to indicate that you are being sarcastic. Otherwise, it is very likely to be interpreted as you being serious about that.
Again, there are some FReepers who have been around long enough that we know their positions on different issues and KNOW them to be strongly conservative. So if they made that kind of statement, we would know that they didn’t mean it but were being sarcastic because we know them.
For someone who hasn’t been around long, there’s no way of telling because nobody knows you well enough. For all we know, you could be serious.
Some of the comments you have made since this thread didn’t really need the /s tag.
I’m sure it’s confusing, especially considering that English is not your native tongue.
Sorry about being so hard on you earlier. Reacting without thinking things through is never a good policy.
