Has it occurred to anyone else that we are NOT stuck with the Kenyan Usurper and Comrade Biden till 2013?
WHEN we take Congress in the fall, we have plenty of cause to impeach and remove (perhaps imprison?) both Barry and Joe. That would make John Boehner our president as early as next February.
Boehner is a bit RINO-ish for my taste. But he would be a LOT better than the current Marxist/jihadist-in-chief.
After Boehner is installed, nothing would keep us from working to nominate Palin in 2012, who could then serve a full eight years after Boehner lays the foundation.
I think we should begin seriously start talking up this "take it all back" option. The fate of the nation is at stake. We should not be afraid to be BOLD.
Impeachment is NOT going to happen. Unless the Democrats start it.
Recall that, while it takes a majority of the House to impeach, it takes 2/3 of the Senate to convict.
Even if the GOP regains a Senate majority in 2010, there is no way it gains a 2/3 majority.
And, as the Democrats conclusively proved in 1999, they won't vote to convict a Democrat President -- even if they know he's guilty (and they certainly did, Robert Byrd admitted it).
Forget this impeachment crap. It's a wet dream.

Nancy will not be speaker of the house after the elections of 2010. I agree almost anyone would be better than Obama as President: Hillary. Newt G. Donald Trump, Jeb Bush, etc...
Who would be worse? Robert Kennedy Jr., Davis Duke, Oprah,

If the elections are a disaster for the democrats, it’s a safe bed that the democrats will get rid of Nancy as Speaker. She will take the fall!

Impeachment will never happen. Even if it did, we would have a real and bloody civil war/race riot on our hands. The cities would explode in anger.
Take a pill and regroup. Silly thoughts like this take away any credibility conservatives are working to reestablish.
Some of us country folks have an old saying, “Don’t count your chickens before they hatch.”
That said, it’s a pipedream that: (1) The Republicans will capture a supermajority this November. Republicans haven’t had a supermajority in over a century, and the gerrymandering of disctricts gaurantees that they will never capture one again without massive election reform and a return to Constitutional principles; (2) That the Republicans would have either the brains or the guts to attempt impeachment even IF they had a supermajority.
You also assume that “WE” will get back control of Congress. I think it’s likely Republicans will regain control of the House (barely), much less likely they will control the Senate. I figure they will go from the current 41 seats to 48, maybe 49 at best. With the divide that close, I look for the Media to demand — and for the Democrats to “suggest” that the Republicans be “nice,” share power, etc...and I expect the Republicans to do just that — in a spirit of “bipartisanship.” Remember, there will still be plenty of McCainiac-types in the Republican ranks.
Attempting to impeach Obama, at least as matters currently stand, probably wouldn’t be the smartest strategy anyway. It would likely actually build sympathy for him — as it did with Clinton.

Gee, I thought the GOP House voted to impeach Clinton. And that they gained a majority of the Senate...but failed to get the 2/3 vote they needed because the Democrats, even knowing Clinton was guilty, wouldn't vote to convict.

It would have to be serious chages for another Prez to be impeached. The Clinton impeachment was a farce. No one in their right mind would attempt it again without the backing of the American people.
