That’s one way good people get slandered and never regain their reputation. Folks see a statement like the one you made in this thread, about Debra Medina, believe it, run with it, and never ask if it’s actually true. And, sad to say; it spreads like wildfire.

Spread all the crap you want about Liberals and Dems but please be careful about discrediting good Conservatives just because you don’t like their Race.

Give it rest. i like Medina and was mocking someone who has been spamming threads with that stuff.

I can see by your beliefs about Sarah that you’re easily fooled. LOL.

Your link is from over a year ago during the campaign when a VP candidate backs the head of the ticket.

Many VPs in history have given a verbalcomment on the platform position
but they personally may not agree with it.

Sort of like the thousands of FReepers who send their kids to public school and the liberal teachers drone on with
liberal propaganda and read their liberal text books.
Parents may not agree with it but that is the reality.

...if anyone even utters a negative comment about Palin or disagrees with her, people will call you a troll or will say that you fear her...

I'm beginning to think that you really do fear Sarah.

Not a legitimate one, anyway...lol.

Perhaps FReepers could go to the businesses and homes who employ illegals and protest. There are tens of thousands to choose from.

I live in San Diego and see and hear it first hand and one of the reasons I support Sarah.

BTW, fence or no fence, they are coming by boat.
several boats a week with 20 or more illegals leave Tijuana and land on the beaches here in San Diego around 2 or 3 in the morning.

It takes the Coast Guard and others to deal with it if their are found.

Yeah, so? We already have a "path to citizenship" encoded in our federal immigration laws. What's your point?

Do you want to make a precise objection to Sarah's recorded statements on illegal immigration, or are you just slinging mud at her?

Perhaps you didn't hear her state on the Rush Limbaugh show, "It's called illegal immigration for a reason."

Or, maybe you did.

My point? Can you read? She supports McCain's position of providing a path to citizenship for illegals who are here in this country. Where does her statement that you posted contradict that? Perhaps you haven't read the countless posts discussing her position. Or maybe you did.

"To clarify, so you support a path to citizenship for undocumented immigrants? I do because I understand why people would want to be in America. To seek the safety and prosperity, the opportunities, the health that is here. It is so important that yes, people follow the rules so that people can be treated equally and fairly in this country."

To be honest, I was a big supporter of Palin in 2008 and early 2009,then I saw that she is becoming very vague on issues that affects us all and that is the reason I no longer support her blindly.

A former "Big supporter", eh? Pardon me, but you're not convincing in the least. You've done nothing but attempt to sow seeds of doubt about the finest patriot on the national stage on this, and other threads tonight.

My guess is that you're sucking down the MSM's putrid regurgitations about Sarah Palin, or you have very close associations with rabid liberals, who are poisoning your mind.

I'm calling you out, Marie. I think you're a closet liberal. I don't think you care one blip about any of the issues you've brought up here. Your sole intention here is to slam Gov. Palin. Straight up.

Sarah Palin has only stated that she supports our current and legal immigration regime.

You’re trying to insinuate that she supports something like the amnesty bill that McCain authored. She’s never said any such thing, nor has she ever voiced any support for illegal immigration, or for “jumping the line”.

Sarah isn’t 100% perfect, but she’s as close to perfection as we’re liable to find in a conservative leader at present. She’s going to have to refine her statements and positions on some issues in the future, and I’m sure she knows that.

Give it time. She’s not even running for office at the moment. She’ll get there in due course, and by that time, she’ll have made her positions on every issue crystal clear to us all.

I thought her famous line was “we agree to disagree.”

I'm not insinuating anything. I posted her comments where she specifically stated that she supports a path to citizenship for illegal aliens here in this country while she was campaigning with McCain, who she is campaigning for now. If she changes her position, she's a flip flopper. Instead of blindly doing her bidding, you should objectively view her positions with the same level of scrutiny as other GOP candidates.

No amnesty, no path to citizenship, no nuance.

Well, I got a reply (or sorts), but it was little more than a false charge about Sarah that’s been repeatedly regurgitated by Palin haters - and repeatedly debunked.

There’s just no way that these people can do this every night unless they’re getting paid for it. Any rational person who was asking an honest question would see the light, and be done with it.

PALIN: we need to close the borders.

They are called illegal aliens for a reason and if they are not going to follow the rules they should not be in our country. It’s pretty simple I ratcheted that one down to the simple answer because its an easier answer than some politicians want it to make it be.

You close the borders. You get more aggressive about cracking down on the illegal aliens and we take it serious what our border patrol officers are trying to do

December 2009

Lars Larson radio talk show

LARS: The amnesty proposal that was defeated in Congress — in your view, was that amnesty for illegals and would you back amnesty for a path to citizenship, as the current president calls it?

SARAH PALIN: No, I’m not for amnesty. Let’s ratchet this down quite simply to remember what we’re referring to. Illegal aliens are called “illegal” for a reason.

We need to secure our borders and I am not for amnesty. And there are humane ways to deal with the 11-13 million illegal aliens who are in our country right now, but if they’re not going to follow the rules, they need to get out.

You don’t want answers, your anti war paleo libertarians
will make sure we have a diverse group of illegals here since Ron Paul stated, Iran and North Korea are not a threat. Also said we are “Imperial America” because
we are occupiers and deserved to be attacked.
The IslamOfascists will know if his type were in charge, our cities will look like parking lots in short order.
Won’t have to worry about amnesy anymore.

Do you even read what you post? No where in those comments does she dispute what she said about supporting a path to citizenship for illegals who are already here.

"To clarify, so you support a path to citizenship for undocumented immigrants?

I do because I understand why people would want to be in America. To seek the safety and prosperity, the opportunities, the health that is here. It is so important that yes, people follow the rules so that people can be treated equally and fairly in this country."

If she directly contradicts the previous statement, then she flipped flopped, plain and simple.

No amnesty, no path to citizenship, no nuance.
