Absolutely not. They are lawbreakers, and should not be rewarded. They should be deported. Legal immigration means following our laws and playing by the rules. Like my mother did when she came her at age 20.

Aside from the larazza fringe, most American Citizen “latinos” want the borders controlled and do not want so-called “amnesty”. They aren’t fools.
I beg to differ with you based on first hand experience living in the Rio Grande Valley (look on a handy Red/Blue political county map of Texas). “Latinos” (or whatever they wish to call themselves this year) consistently, meaning EVERY DAMNED election cycle, vote liberal Democrat. I’m 67 and I go w-a-a-a-y back with these people.

A) 1st time caught = deportation
B) 2nd time caught = brand a “X” on forehead and deportation
C) 3rd time caught = execution and ashes spread over a sewage plant

The problem is that there are many types of Latinos.
In parts of the Southwest, there are Latinos, mostly of Mexican origin, who are as American as apple pie and have been in this country for many generations. They tend to at least lean conservative.
Then, you have recent Mexican and Central American immigrants, who are typically accepting of government corruption, and usually vote Dem, if legal, and often if not.
Cuban immigrants are overwhelmingly conservative (in comparison) and generally support the US and it’s laws...
Puerto Ricans, first off are US citizens anyway, and tend to be politically somewhere between the Mexican/Central American and Cuban population. However, most Puerto Ricans I know aren’t big fans of illegals.

In my experience, Latinos who are here legally resent the influx of illegals. What does it say to those who went to all the trouble to meet the requirements? It says, “rules are for fools”.
