Some changes since the November notice was first posted.
First, we will still have a presence at Arlington Cemetery Memorial circle. More later in this thread.
The moonbats have change their abnormal plans from years past. This year they appear to be eliminating their march to the Pentagon. They plan on staying in D.C. to protest Obama’s handling of foreign affairs, from Afghanistan to Iraq to Haiti. But they have not yet mentioned any times or particulars. Also, Cindy Sheehan has apparently taken up residence in DC. Starting the preceding Saturday, March 13, she plans to camp out on the Washington Monument grounds and block DC traffic through civil resistance.
Our Mission is to show real support for our troops and to let people know that just because Obama is being protested, he does not have our troops’ best interest in mind.
Our Plans for Saturday are to have a Support the Troops Rally and to use the Circle as a possible gathering point for those who will be in DC countering the moonbats. We’ll have our usual setup of tents, hot coffee and chocolate, banners, flags, and posters for I hope everyone. We’ll show America what real support for our troops looks like.
The Time that we’ll be in the Circle is from 10AM till 4PM. Times and locations to counter the moonbats have not yet been determined.

Also, Gathering of Eagles will be out protecting our Military Monuments and recruiter stations. Being that the moonbats will be demonstrating both Friday and Saturday, GoE will need extra help. Contact CONCRETEBOB if you can help.

The sanctity was compromised if not violated when they buried Tedlard Kennedy there last summer.

Concretebob, Looking for volunteers? I can’t do anything but man a post with a cell phone...would that be useful? I could sit and look old and pitiful and they would not know I was a “wild Freeper”!! LOL

Looks like a busy time in D.C. this March. I hope folks take the time to come out and support our troops in between Tea Parties.

It’s my sorrowful duty to report that they gave it up.
My Dad’s out there too. One can see the wing of the Pentagon that was attacked on 9/11 from his gravesite.
Maybe he shouldn’t have abandoned the oath he swore.

I'll drink to that, though I applaud all efforts aimed at keeping the moonbats from besmirching the final resting place of so many heroes...
