Medina is an incompetant manipulative kook, that is what is clear

Nice hyperbole.

Gonna stick with Rick "Let's build the Trans-texas Corridor" Perry, or Kay "I'm a career RINO" Hutchinson?

Let's make sure McCain remains Senator in Arizona while you're at it.

Debra Medina was not one who could save this country from the hard left.

Maybe not, but what have Hutchinson and Perry done considering how long have these moderate RINOs been in office?

Medina may not be a national phenom, but isn’t Texas enough? She won’t be an career-entitled mannequin like either Perry of KBH either.

And she she as h*ll won’t help the globalists build the Trans-Texas Corridor like Rick Perry.

This question my have surprised her but if she was really a conservative she would have said no flat out.

Her hesitation to answer one way or the other makes me think she was quickly reviewing in her mind all of her previous statements on the subject to weigh whether or not those statements could be held against her.

If you have to pause to think about what you've said previously and whether or not it can be used against you, then you are probably lying. That's my gut feeling on this one.

I just don't think she went into an interview with Glen Beck ill-prepared. She shined in the debates. She was prepared and focused. There's no way this was an off-the-cuff mistake. She hesitated because she knew she'd said something to someone that could hurt her politically.

I respectfully disagree on your assessment. It was the first time I’d listen in on Medina and was impressed.

OTOH, I was disappointed with Beck and his obviously pre-planned “GOTCHA” question.

Perry’s support of the TTC is far more disturbing than Medina staffers or even Medina herself questioning the events of 9/11. Geez, we’ve got a Marxist in the WH. Why wasn’t THAT a litmus test?

Are you talking to me?

29 posts? Is that like starting a thread? I don’t do that too often - But I know I have more than 29 posts.

For someone who's been a "freeper" since 2001 you sure are naive. You are up to 30 total posts now, and no, I'm not talking threads.

A Ron Paul supporter - yes. That’s how I know what he’s said about the issue.

Really. I'd like to hear what you think he's said.

I don’t really care about Medina - I’m not in Texas. If she’s for limited government then she’s probably better than the alternatives - don’t know for sure though.

It is interesting that you have popped up so vociferously on this thread defending Medina's meltdown today.

My interest is in labels like Truther and Birther. What do they mean and why are people not allowed to question things without being attacked or ridiculed.

I see you are trying to equate the two labels. One has solid proof, the other, not so much. I think you've already decided which one makes the most sense to you.

The issue here is truther association - but I like to bring it back to birther stuff too.

I'm sure you do. I do have to ask you, why no questions about these subjects until now? It's not like the truther and birther issues haven't been around for a few YEARS.

Glenn just irks me every time he ridicules birthers. Let the people think what they want.

So Glenn exposed your gal and now you're trying to gain sympathy by trying to triangulate the argument. Last I checked, Beck doesn't control my thought process.

Beck sandbagged Medina ... Despite Beck's petty "GOTCHA!" moment ...

Beck didn't sandbag Medina. She sandbagged herself. It wasn't a "gotcha!" moment. She had three chances to answer the same question. He was more than fair.

You must be as f’n stupid as Medina!

Whatever she really believes, she wasn’t smart enough to figure out what the “right” answer was. She’s too stupid to run anything.

Did you even listen to the Beck and Medina exchange?

Oh..and your characterization is off the mark. Medina handled the question MUCH LIKE Sarah Palin. How 'bout that?

Oh my Norm, you made me laugh out loud. I guess it is true that liberals and conservatives filter things differently.

I heard the interview live, with no expectations one way or the other. I live in Minnesota and was not even familiar with Medina.

First, I can't stand it when the interviewee doesn't even answer the question about her background right out of the box. She just bashed the rino Perry, nothing about herself. He posed the question again and she was sort of alright. Then the bomb question hit. Beck was right to pose it to her. That's why I love the internet. People on the ground know this person and her views and were posting the question to him. That's what journalism is all about unlike the last 50 years of the MSM stranglehold.

Get used to it.

P.S. Comparing Palin's answers about 9/11 to Medina is like comparing sunshine to darkness.

So you don't know what Medina believes? And you expect candidates to know the "right" answers? WHO is the arbiter of those "right" questions? Yeah- too bad Medina didn't realize The Fix wasn't in, huh?

Geez, no wonder our side is losing.

There IS a school of thought that the Bent One was complicit in the OKC bombing, though not necessarily personally. There is evidence, which I find credible, that the blast which did the damage came from HIGH explosives, not the low order ANFO explosive, and that some of Hussein’s Republican Guard intel types were present in OKC at the time. The TV reporter, Jayna Davis, really seemed to have done her homework. Others **or maybe the same ones** have suggested that it was a sting gone awry. I know a lot of folks seem to think .gov can hold no secrets for long, but that is obviously not the case, for the most part. And if you were facing the choice of shut up and let the blame fall as it did or going to prison for life if you developed a belated conscience, what do you think YOU’D do? Especially if you knew that the truth would stay locked up until after you were sure to be dead and gone???

However, what IS known is that there was an impenetrable barrier placed between the Feebs and the Christians In Action that prevented a LOT of intelligence sharing. One can’t help but wonder how benign the Clown’s motives were when he had that one done.
