I heard the interview live, with no expectations one way or the other. I live in Minnesota and was not even familiar with Medina.
She just bashed the rino Perry, nothing about herself. He posed the question again and she was sort of alright. Then the bomb question hit. Beck was right to pose it to her. That's why I love the internet. People on the ground know this person and her views and were posting the question to him.
This why I love the internet as well. You heard it one way; I heard it another, and yet I was also keeping an open mind.
My impression was that Medina knew her time was limited and had to get her talking points down. You call it "bashing" (like a typical lib.) I characterize it as disagreeing with Perry and voicing her reasons. Beck asked what she was personally about; She answered. Not satisfied, he asked again; She repeated what she'd already said, and then some. Beck was annoyed.
Beck then contrived some BS story about how "people were talking" which cued him into asking Medina if she was a "Truther." She answered him in the negative, but he clearly wanted something else. Then he pressed the GOTCHA question and extended it to include her staffers. Lame. especially for Beck. But at least you heard the exchange - more than I can say for others.
That's what journalism is all about unlike the last 50 years of the MSM stranglehold. Get used to it.

You really need to look at yourself in the light cast by “Integrity, Honesty, Character & Loyalty.” I think you might be the one who’s coming up short in those areas, given your obvious dislike of anyone who doesn’t toe YOUR line. It is, after all, still ok to NOT be all in lockstep. Now. if YOU were the site owner, you could just toss Mr. Greenbaum out on his ass. As it is, it’s my considered opinion that YOU are out of line. Anyone can ask the mods to address an obnoxious poster. That’s the purpose of the abuse button. And I’ve been here longer than one or two more weeks than Norm.
I don’t care what his opinion is. I don’t like or dislike him. I didn’t call him out because I dislike his political views. I called him out because he’s been unusually rude and obnoxious to many freepers on this thread.
If you think he’s been polite to anyone on this thread, you should re-examine your idea of polite.

On this site, newbie, you will find maybe 1/2 dozen truthers, but the solid majority here are so called birthers. Including the site owner. Meaning we KNOW Obama is lying about his birth circumstances. So you might want to peddle that crap elsewhere

As for others here I am fortunate to know many here allow for differences of opinions including the site owner, who BTW he and others here were very instrumental in moving me into Palins court when I first came here sharing my concerns of her. Birthers and Truthers have not convinced me.
BTW I respect your passion for what you believe even if I don't agree. That's what makes FR a great place...people are passionate about what they believe and who they support.
However I would be pleasantly happy if Birthers could indeed nail Obama on this issue of his birth and oust him for that. I will humbly apologize if that would happen. But in my mind if this were indeed an issue it would certainly seem Hillary, McCain and others who ran would have brought this to the surface then.
Yes, I do wear the badge of Newbee..and that proudly after close to 7 yrs. using FR as a great source of information, and observing great debates which also helped me in my decision making on candidates....I do oppose Medina and am very glad she has now been exposed...and will continue to support those who oppose her.
