HOUSTON — Republican gubernatorial candidate Debra Medina, reeling from her remarks that questioned whether the U.S. government was involved in the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks, on Friday blamed the ensuing firestorm on a “coordinated attack” that she speculated came from the campaigns of her better-known GOP rivals.

These people who blame Beck are just as bad nuts as truthers. I would never vote for truthers, people who support truthers, and people who don’t like Beck!!

She deserved it. If anyone even read the Glenn Beck transcript or even viewed it, I would pick the other 2 RINOS over this insane woman.
Noe Medina is an interesting character. I’m sure some stuff will come out before early voting begins.

There’d be no problem if she’d simply said “I don’t believe the U.S. Government had any role in causing the 9-11 attacks.”
I realize she answered both yes and no to the question but anyone who is a credible candidate knows better than to open that can of worms. It just makes her look like a nut.
She has nobody but herself to blame for that.
I’ll agree Beck’s question and the reactions to it look somewhat like a smear but any politician ready to be governor knows how to shoot down that sort of question and she didn’t. THAT’S why her support is going to crater - because she just illustrated why she’s not up to being governor.
Don’t blame Perry or KBH for that. It’s like asking “do you still beat your wife?” As a politician, you instinctively learn how to deal with those sort of questions.

Guilty.
I think that is exactly what she was doing..in a round about way.
She can’t blame Beck, a few hours later she said almost the same thing (a little worse) in another interview.
