Those ads are pitiful. They are playing in Tucson on the Limbaugh Show. Johnny has this snarky woman who sounds like a lib attacking Hayworth.

How do I know it’s for real? Has he announced?

I don't understand why he wants to continue his career as a "public servant." (okay, I just threw up in my mouth a little while typing that.)

He's married to a millionairess, has 7 houses (at least....it's so hard to keep count, ya know?), and he's past the age of retirement.

Talk about love of power. It's really sickening.

He’s been rolling out his announcement all week and next week, at different campaign stops. Yes, that’s his website.

Martha Coakley had all the push of the DNC and whatever was behind it. She lost.

McCain is now the new Scozzafava meaning that the Republican party is making the same mistake and backing the wrong horse. JD is very, very media savvy and the rest of the Republican base hates McCain.

Give me a break. McCain has no base. 70-80 million Republicans are gunning for him. He is finished. Toast. The Republican hiearchy is still full of Rinos and need to be liquidated and sanitized. They refuse to learn. This is a battle of the old Republican guard verses the new Republican guard.

You smell that bread burning? He is toast, toast, toast!!!

Did you really want to ping me with your comments? I’m the one who’s working for Hayworth! I do believe Hayworth will win but it’s going to quite an drawn out battle. McCain started the attack ads weeks before Hayworth even announced.

If they are upsetting people all over the state then he is doing JD a favor running them.

Thanks for your willingness to help, but we face a tough obstacle: the stubbornness of Republican primary voters in AZ.

I know he started the attack ads early which made me think that they must really be concerned they will lose their shorts. The other thing is that McCain wants to appear like an ultra conservative when he has done so many things in the opposite that he is no longer credible.

I also believe his base is gone. I don’t think McCain has a chance.

Ms. Prince - While power is certainly a large part of what drives guys like McCain, I think it’s more than that. The guys in the Senate are his friends - at least the older ones - and they are his family. Cindy and his mom are relatives. Retire to do what? I am sure he has no bucket list - already been there and done that. That’s why term limits are important before this kind of mindset develops and they become entrenched. McCain needs to go.

They were blue on the election maps until the Clinton years, when the MSM realized that democrat=red=reality.

Thanks for the update, Nateman. Are you resolved (and have the wherewithal) to work for JD full time even if a job were to become available? If not, what do you do? I’ll keep my ears to the ground for you.

We’d love to get those periodic reports on the campaign. It wouldn’t surprise me if Johnny Boy decided not to run.

Can you explain that for those of us who do not live in AZ? Thanks.

Tough choice. I’ll do what I can to pay the bills but I’d like to work for Hayworth all the way to Washington.
