President Obama decided its time to push the dictator button and tell the Legislature theyre expendable. Using the Old Gray Lady for softball coverage, the White House announced the President is prepared to use Executive fiat to advance his energy, environmental and fiscal policies. But what good is signing your agenda into law if you dont have radicals to implement it? Oh yeah, hell also be making recess appointments. Its good to be King!
On Friday White House chief of staff, Rahm Emmanuel announced the President is preparing, to get the job done. Translation: Obama is tired of waiting for his agenda to be passed through Constitutional means. Signaling things to come, former campaign and current White House communications director Dan Pfeiffer gave notice, In 2010, executive actions will play a key role in advancing the agenda.

That is funny. Not ha-ha funny, but funny. The only thing that I can see the Republicans doing is alibiing for him. If he is stoped it will be the AMERICAN people that does it. By “American” I do mean the obama voters. I mean those who cherish what freedoms we have left.
What took him so long?
There is no such certification
Golly, Sherman, a bit more circumspection would be good!
Eye-popper: Is Nancy Pelosi in on eligibility cover-up?
HF
The only good thing about BO, Nancy and Harry is that they are showing the country what ultra left unchecked liberalism is and the dems are all liberals. BO may make the dems be out of power for a generation or longer.
Frightening. Really frightening.
No doubt. And the people are sick of it too. The Pubbies will deal with this.
“Granted, he might call on his Black Panther brothers and Muslim Brotherhood to defend him, but that can be easily taken care of”
I once said that the only ‘ranks’ these idiots hold are through appointments, not through actually going through a boot camp and earning their ranks through actual work.
That ain’t good enough. The form you linked to certifies that the Democratic Party nominated these two candidates and that they are qualified in the opinion of that party. IOW, the document officially notifies each state of the nomination.
That is very different from the idea that each state itself has some official process by which it certifies a candidate as being eligible.
I continue to be of the opinion that no such process existed in 2008, and apparently still does not exist. Feel free to prove me wrong.
If one single state had an official process that requires a candidate for president to provide documentation of his eligibility, we wouldn’t be having this discussion. Obama’s proof would be public record.
“Hell behave just like another General Idi Armin.”
/////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////
I don’t think so, Obama would crap his pants at the sight of such as Idi Amin. Idi Amin was a huge man who was reported to sometimes act as his own executioner, knocking the brains out of prisoners with a huge hammer that Obama would barely be able to lift, let alone swing. If half of what was reported about him is true Saddam Hussein himself would have taken a back seat to Amin in the savagery department. Obama might be just as narcissistic but that is possibly the only way in which he could match Amin.
Would he, like Nixon, then opt to exit on his own terms or drag the country through a constitutional crisis?
/////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////
Unlike some I know I am not a Nixon defender but still I will say that he had infinitely more actual character than Obama. Nixon could actually feel shame whereas Obama will feel only rage in the same situation. Nixon certainly did not want to destroy America. I wish I could say the same for Obama.
He warned them in the SOTU address.
Consider for a moment though:
Liberals/Democrats held a majority in the Senate, House, and Presidency but did not, DID NOT, get healthcare, cap & tax, and who knows what other hidden agendas passed. They did not need Republicans to do any of this stuff. Republicans could have voted No until the second Tuesday of the week. The Democrats should have had it ALL. Why did they fail 0bama?
They are trying to blame us, but we’re really inconsequential to having stalled “The Agenda.”
His heavyhand will be his undoing.
It is time to really consider what recourse We the People have with regards to unConstitutional actions.
The 10th Amendment? What state(s) are not beholden to the Federal government?...
So, we look to ourselves to declare our own sovereignty as the American people.
Sounds like Caligula started out better than Barry did!
WASHINGTON With much of his legislative agenda stalled in Congress, President Obama and his team are preparing an array of actions using his executive power to advance energy, environmental, fiscal and other domestic policy priorities.

It is not just appointments.
I understand. I was just making the point about the appointments.
I see where I caused the confusion. I should have used the subjunctive.
Make no mistake. Her document was legally required and part of an official process that at least some states--particularly Hawaii--use in determining eligibility.
Fukino, of Hawaii's Department of Health, apparently used Pelosi's certification to impute that Zero is a natural born citizen, though her statement was meant to leave us thinking it was his birth certificate on which she relied. One has to wonder who her counsellors for that press statement were and what they were thinking.
Though hypertechnically true that Pelosi's written certification is an opinion, if facts now hidden show Soetero to be ineligible, she will have to answer stern charges of fraudulent misrepresentation before one or more courts. If she abused her responsibilities in forming her "opinion" of Barry's eligibility, er uh... making those representations, her penalties could be most severe, even life-threatening. In that case, we will all join the courts saying Pelosi's certification "ain't good enough."
