If there is no one to call 'em "Indians", are they still "Indians"?

One interesting thing. What was it that the locals wanted most when the Europeans first showed up. Agricultural advancements, poetry, literature, any form of liberal arts education, or civil engineering? Nope they wanted guns, lots of guns. They liked metal axes too. And interestingly the locals in Africa were more than happy to sell their fellow Africans into slavery in exchange for, you guessed it, more guns. So they could kill each other much more efficiently. There were no noble savages. Just savages lacking a decent arms industry.

I had totally forgotten that movie. Of course the Time Machine by H.G. Wells could fit that too.

And the References to Rainbow Six are good too.

He seems to place some value on people having enough to eat, but contradicts himself by wanting there to be less people around.

He’s apparently totally ignorant of the “paradise” that Stalin created by doing that not too long ago.

Of course, logical consistency and any grasp of common sense is completely devoid in such a person.

I said it was their solution, didn’t say it was a good one.

Anyway yes you are right about that.
