... people (on drugs) tend to lose all sense of reality, judgment, reason and what’s normal and appropriate.

Very true ... and setting his bail at $20250 seems quite low ...

I’ve heard of drying out urine to retrieve sediment.

I guess we should legalize drugs and we won’t have depraved drug users anymore. /s

Was shocked when I read the source. The Town Talk is very well known to me. Horrible that anyone would think of doing this.

Wondered how long before urine or any other bodily fluid is “recylced”. I must live a sheltered life because this shocked me.

A couple of years ago I watched a documentary about addicts (heroin I think) in Sweden or Switzerland. It’s rampant there IIRC. I fear the same future here if legalization continues to expand. Mush brains are always looking for some kind of high, be it drugs or adrenal or just shock-factor.

Huh? This makes no sense at all. If they want to save some for a second high, then save some by not using it all the first time.

Right, a 2 for 1 sale could actually become a 4 for 1. Or more depending on how many pulls of a syringe can be done before passing out. Sad and pathetic.

Urine extraction labs are common with meth users. The user either drinks the urine or “cooks down” the urine to leave the meth so it can be used again.
Some extraction labs have been discovered with 50 gallon barrels full of urine.

It is possible I saw the same documentary. It was Switzerland. Anyway, the filming was at one point in a much frequented park. Normally a park is the nicest and peaceful place one should be able to visit.

I believe that the tragic addicts had virtually taken over the park. People literally being forced to avoid. It is getting so bad, that the public perception of people doing only harm to themselves, is wrong. It will eventually find itself in neighborhoods that do not have the clout and affluent residents to get something done.

With all the brains and education, society seems to be beaten. They do not know the answer, only the old form of surrender- appeasement.

I would not expect this to work. Second time around, clotted solid.

Yeeewww! How disgusting! What ever happened to just knocking back a few cold ones at the local gin-mill on a Saturday night?

To use themselves or sell to a third party, perhaps a newbie drug user who doesn’t quite have the same tolerance as the donor? Oh, God, totally disgusting and beyond stupid either way. Zero sympathy for anyone who would do this.

Are these people on drugs or something? How could there be enough active agent in a syringe of whole blood to have any effect? The original dose is spread all through the entire blood supply.
