Powell: America is no less safe under Obama administration

I’d rather have Gen. Powell advising the President than the dingdongs he usually listens to.

My gosh, I have to go to bed in a few minutes. Your comment, although correct, is not conducive to helping my sleep at all. :)

Does he mean no less safe than when he recommended that we not finish the job in Iraq the first time?

No less safe? I wonder if Powell would spout that same line if the Fruit of Kaboom bomber’s underpants blew up as intended? Thank God that bomb did not kill anyone, but Obama had nothing to do with its lack of success.

That was the first big dispute between the Realists and the NeoCons in the post cold war period. The Realists won that one.

The second big dispute between the Realists and the NeoCons was in the GW Bush White House that the NeoCons won and the decision was made to put the Afghan mission on hold and invade Iraq.

The third big dispute occurred in 2005 and 2006 when Bush was stuck in Iraq with no exit and Afghanistan was spinning out of control. The Realists won that one. The Iraq Study Group was convened and the NeoCons were replaced by the Realists.

The fourth big dispute was campaign 2000 when McCain campaigned on NeoCon foreign policies and Obama campaigned on Realist policies. The Realists won that one.

The next big dispute will be based on whether the NeoCons can get the empty vessel from Alaska elected. Can Randy Scheunemann, NeoCon and puppetmaster, manipulate the strings on Puppet Palin to get her elected?

Well, thank you. One can never have enough tinfoil.

This guy irks the hell out of me, first because he stopped us from taking out Saddam more than a decade earlier because of his “its vietnam” nonsense.

Then he backed Obama knowing Obama doesn’t stand for any of the principles he claims he believes in, just on the fact he was black.

Now he doubles down on that last stand to save face?

Powell, I respect your service to this nation, even when I have disagreed with your actions, but at this point, please, just go away.

A lot of people like to look at it as individuals saying or doing things, but these individual belong to groups, and in this case, the foreign policy groups, or schools, or doctrines dis-agree.

This doesn't mean everyone in the group is going to agree with everyone else in the group on any or all particular issues.

So, Realist Bob Gates and Realist Brent Scowcroft may have disagreements over Iran, but nothing like the disagreement either of them would have with NeoCon Cheney or NeoCon Wolfowitz.

So, let me give you a little quiz.

Name that member of Obama's Cabinet who is a Realist who worked for both Brzezinski under Carter and Scowcroft under GHW Bush.

Name that Republican Realist who served as Reagan's Ambassador to Israel and Obama's Envoy to Hamas.

Here’s an example, Powell - by changing the ROE in Afghanistan and publicly stating his intentions to withdraw, Obama has made the world an even more dangerous place, as the end result will be the fall of that country to the taliban and a new base of operations for the taliban and al-Quaeda to plan and execute operations that will directly result in the deaths of innocent Americans.

Good enough for you?

Let’s see, um, Powell, the Realist, was the point man for W, the Neo-Con, at the UN selling the war in Iraq!?! Have I got that right?

You have it partially right.

Powell sold it at the UN based on the intelligence furnished by the NeoCons. And after Powell found out it was all a lie, it was a different story.

And, finally, in 2009, even Dick Cheney admitted the intelligence was "faulty".

Even Bush realized that he had been lied to and he abandoned NeoCon Scooter to die on the political battlefield because of it.

Ah! the intel was all a lie?

Perhaps if we stay in Iraq another century, we will eventually find the nukes, buried somewhere in the desert, along with the yellow cake.

The yellow cake is now in Canada. Several metric tonnes of it.

BTW, what ever happened to Chalabi? The last I heard he was the leader of a very minor political party. To think he was the NeoCons' go to man in Iraq

They knew the intel was incorrect, and they tried to pass it off as correct. They lied about it.

But if it is any consolation, they fooled many for a while, including Powell.

One thing I’m still unsure of. Did the Realists hire the aliens to attack on 9-11-01 or did the Neo-Cons? Also, has Ron Paul said whether it was the Greys the Alpha Draconans or someone else? I’ve seen the video evidence too.

It was a conspiracy between the NeoCons and the TheoCons.
