It’s like catching a pedophile in the act, it murders witnesses. The gay agenda is worse than bigotry, it is a rapist’s agenda. Anything looking or mentioning innocence is like a threat to them.
And feminists say gay men are so nice while holywood brainwashes us with images of women ok with taking bubble baths with gay men...

It could be a comment on fatherless homes, but NOOOO its _obviously_ about gay marriage. Yeah, I was thinking the same thing. It could also be a rebuke to those who are "shacked up."

If you ever feel a need to keep the dispute secular -- and there really is no reason to To the contrary, I think it's essential to keep the dispute secular. Any religious argument may legitimately be disregarded by anyone who does not believe the religion in question.
From a secular standpoint, I think the best argument is probably that, with very few exceptions, every society that has ever existed and prospered, has recognized "marriages" with the following characteristics:
- A marriage defines a human female as being exclusively the wife of precisely one human male.
- Any man who has sexual relations with another man's wife commits a great personal offense against that man (except in the rare case where the man might allow it).
- Even societies with practically nothing in common will recognize each others' marriages; men will not knowingly engage in sexual relations with wives of other societies' men except when wishing to cause great offense.
Although many things about marriage have varied from one society or another, or from one century to another, the above characteristics have been constant essentially everywhere since time immemorial.
Marriage predates religion and predates government. Even if the law were changed so a man-less or woman-less group could call itself a "marriage", that wouldn't make such a group be one.
