Lytle is a blink-and-you'll-miss-it kind of town, one of hundreds that dot the vast flat ranchlands of southern Texas. A smear of houses by the main highway between San Antonio and Laredo. Population: 2,383. The first streets only got paved here in the years after the second world war. A sewage system took a little longer, not being built until the 1960s. In short, Lytle, Texas, has never been big enough to have much impact on the politics of the Lone Star state. And few Texas politicians have ever paid much attention to it.

Stopped reading right there................
She’s causing a split because some people are going to choose the Constitution and State Sovereignty over a silly conspiracy theory.
New star? How about fallen star after her 9-11 truther crap. No cops killed in the towers... ludicrous.
The fake banner finds it way to the thread...
Two things. One - Medina has never said she thinks our government may have orchestrated the 9/11 attacks; you Perry supporters try to put those words into her mouth. Two - How is someone who thinks our government may have helped to orchestrate the biggest fraud known to man (man-made global warming) conservative?
You've never heard of the government's "Cap and trade" legislation they're trying to ram down our throats?
If you think our government is being truthful with us vote for Perry. If you think big government is out to screw you vote for Medina.
Maybe you should take the time to learn who Medina is and what she stands for before ripping her apart eh?
Her star fell back in 08 when she played games with lawsuits against the Republican party of Texas because Paul lost the primary.
This is a hit piece on the Tea Party - trying to tie them with a 9-11 truther nutcase like Medina.
Are we so desperate to clean house of 'career politicians' that we jump on the bandwagon of Debra MEDINA, an unknown ex-nurse with zero experience, questionable judgement and loyalties and who worked on the RON PAUL presidential campaign???
Perry leans too far to the left at times for the taste of most of us, but consider this: Texas is in better shape than almost any other state in the union since it's been under Perry's governorship since 2000!
If we're going to kick him out, we'd better be D*MN sure we know just what we're replacing him with!
Just WHO would we replace him with?
Ron paul/truther nutter Medina?
Trecherous Washington RINO Hutchison?*
MUSLIM FAROUK SHAMI?
Or maybe Lib Bill White?
Nominate Medina and we'll surely turn over Texas to White and the 'rats. She CANNOT beat White.
Perhaps in the future a more Conservative candidate will emerge for Texas, but this time around WE HAVE NO CHOICE.
For God's sake, has anybody really looked into her platform- her background? Has this woman even been vetted?
She wants legalized drugs.
She backs gay marriage.
.
She has not spoken to her elderly parents for YEARS. They had to find out she was runing for governor of Texas by reading the newspaper!

What does this say about this woman's character?
And rumors are begin to surface about husband Noe's past associations.
Take a look at some of the statements she has made:
"I don't have all of the evidence there, Glenn. I think some very good questions have been raised. In that regard there's some very good arguments and I think the American people have not seen all the evidence there." (When Glen Beck asked her about the 9/11 conspiracy theory)
"Its a shame isnt it, that Republicans continue to ignore Hispanics especially here in Texas?
Oh really, MEDINA? What else do you want?? (or shouldn't I ask?)
"Who is going to think more about Latino families? Rick Perry, Kay Bailey Hutchison or me, who has a Latino family?
"Being married, however, to someone with a Mexican American heritage, I certainly embrace the culture.
"I believe we too often get into race when its immaterial. (Obummer, is that you?)
I don't believe for one minute Medina's propaganda about wanting to strengthen the border!
La Raza probably has her in their back pocket!
This idea that Beck (or anybody else) sabotaged Medina is absurd. If you cant answer did the govt have anything to do with the 9/11 attacks? you're not be fit to run for dogcatcher.
Glenn Beck has once again helped the tea-party stay in the Republican mainstreamby by weeding out dangerous fringe thinkers like Medina.
Medina is NOT representative of the Tea Party movement. She USED them- latched herself on to them. Shes a hard core Libertarian who has realized that the Libertarian Party will never win anything and that the only possible way to get herself into office is to do what Ron Paul did and wrap herself in the Republican cloak in hopes that it will fool enough of the voters enough of the time. Thank God Glen Beck outed her in time.
Retrieve your sombrero from the ring and go home Senora Medina. You're Texas toast. . .
* REMEMBER THIS,TEXANS:
Feds Have Built Only 32 Miles of 700 Mile Double-Border Fence Originally Mandated by Congress
One reason DHS has been able to do this is an amendment that Sen. Kay Bailey Hutchison (R.-Texas) slipped into an omnibus appropriations bill that Congress passed on December 18, 2007. Hutchisons amendment put a loophole in the fence law that allowed the secretary of Homeland Security not to build the fence Congress had mandated the year before.

Since you didnt hear the entire interview, here is a transcript of the conversation when Glenn brought up the 9/11 topic.
GLENN: I have when I said that I was going to have you on, you can't imagine the mail pro and con that I received. There was a theme that ran against you and that is you are a 9/11 Truther.
MEDINA: Well, there's lots of mud that people would like to throw at Debra Medina and make stick. The truth is I'm an everyday ordinary person. I am fighting for the things that our founders fought for, those very basic principles of a constitutional republic, and I'm going to champion people that hold their government accountable, hold me accountable but that's the first time I've heard that accusation. So that's an interesting one.
GLENN: Right. Here's then let me be more frank and ask you the question: Do you believe the government was any way involved with the bringing down of the World Trade Centers on 9/11?
MEDINA: I don't, I don't have all of the evidence there, Glenn. So I don't I'm not in a place, I have not been out publicly questioning that. I think some very good questions have been raised in that regard. There are some very good arguments, and I think the American people have not seen all of the evidence there. So I've not taken a position on that.
GLENN: I think the people of America might think that might be a yes.
MEDINA: Well
GLENN: Do you have advisors, do you have advisor
MEDINA: I'm not going to take a position.
GLENN: That's fine.
MEDINA: These questions have been raised and they are not answered.
GLENN: Do you have advisors that advise you or people that are around you that are 9/11 Truthers?
MEDINA: Not to my knowledge.
GLENN: Would you, if you found out that there were, would you disavow them like the president should have but I mean, he escorted them out in the middle of the night. Van Jones was a 9/11 Truther. If you found out that people around you are advising you were 9/11 Truthers, would you disavow them or allow them to continue to advise you?
MEDINA: Well, you know, that's a federal issue. We're very focused on issues in Texas, on Texas state government. I'm certainly not into mind control or thought policing people.
GLENN: No, that's a pretty big one.
MEDINA: We've got a very diverse team in this state and that's because Texans are standing shoulder to shoulder to support and defend the Constitution. I frankly don't have time, you know, to go through and do psychological testing on people and know every thought or detail that they have.
GLENN: No, I don't think it's psychological at all.
MEDINA: I don't see us having a team of radical individuals, if you will. I think that there are certainly some that are looking, trying to use scare tactics. I you know, are there people?
GLENN: No, I don't think they're scare tactics. Debra, you've answered the question.
MEDINA: Yeah, are there people that have tried to come and be a part of our team
GLENN: Right.
MEDINA: that have not gotten on the team? Absolutely there are. But I can't
GLENN: Yeah, I understand. Debra, you've answered the question.
MEDINA: You know, I don't know. That's so out of context, it's difficult for me to answer.
GLENN: There's
MEDINA: I think it would depend on, you know, how vocal they were about that and how much I thought it colored whatever other talent they brought to the table.
GLENN: Yeah. Okay, Debra, thank you very much. I appreciate it and best of luck to you.

You do know what a truther is don’t you?
What she stands for? Hmmm. Let's see.. if you loose elections use the legal system to bully your way in (2008 Presidential primary lawsuits). Border security is not in the State's jurisdiction (Morrison Report interview 12/2009). Scold the GOP taking a harder stance on immigration issue because it will hurt their image with Latinos (Latinos and the GOP- Medina). Scold KBH for voting against Sotomayor (Latinos and the GOP).
We can keep going if you like.. How about agreeing with Ron Paul that the roadway system should be privatized (how about that Toll Road opponents). How about Marijuana legalization? How about abortion something that shouldn't be legislated but is a medical issue?
Yeah....she's smoking everybody in the race with about 15% support. She was toast before the truther comments.
What she did in my opinion was expose the Paulinistas who are the in Tea Movement. As soon she opened her mouth, it caused people like Alex Jones to flood her with Truthers. If she had just shut up or denounced Truthers outright then Alex Jones, Paulinistas and Truthers wouldn’t have a leg to stand on.
I'm not a Perry supporter. I don't live in Texas and I haven't followed the race.
I do, however, know what I heard from the woman's own mouth, and your spinning things won't change that. She said she believes it was possible that our government had a hand in 9/11 and that it should be investigated further. Sheer disgusting insanity.
Like Medina, I DON'T KNOW. Do you have the black boxes from any of the planes that crashed into our buildings on 9/11? And do I believe our government will push me under a bus the first chance it gets?
Absolutely.
You?
Understand. I am not afraid of the truth. It amazes me that there are those of you that are. Too many questions remain unanswered about a lot of things to just buy the government's propaganda hook line and sinker. But then you are a Perry supporter aren't you? ;~D
Exactly, this same rag jumped on tying Stack (the IRS terrorist) to the tea parties as well and completely ignored he was a Marx quoting lefty.
How about the nano-thermite or fire melting steel?
It’s actually not a hit piece.
The last McKinney Tea Party meeting (post Beck) had massive support for Medina. Every single 9-12 group and Tea Party correspondence I get is highly in favor of Medina in this area. They know she is a Constitutional/State Sovereignty candidate.
So, in my region -— North Texas -— she has the support of many in the Tea Party.
Then why do you Perry supporters pervert another English word in an attempt to slander someone you don't like. If she isn't interested in the truth simply call her a liar. Don't make up new words that are meant to confuse people.
If Medina wants the truth then I stand with her. As I said. I am tired of being lied to and Perry is a liar/rino/socialist.... I'll not vote for a liar. Sorry!
