House GOP targets EPA rules

House Republicans are pushing a resolution that would block the EPA's regulation of greenhouse gases, throwing a wrench in the Obama administration's attempts to bypass Congress and regulate carbon emissions.

The announcement comes as a growing chorus of lawmakers—mostly Republicans, but some coal state Democrats as well— have criticized the EPA’s decision to move forward on carbon regulations. Last year, the EPA issued a finding that the heat-trapping gases were harmful to the public, paving way for regulation under the Clean Air Act. Republicans say they’re concerned the regulations will hurt the economy.

“The last thing we need in this economy is new jobs that amount to a new tax on energy,” said Minority Leader John Boehner (R-Ohio). “This really amounts to an attack on the private sector.”

Boehner joined House Conference Chairman Mike Pence (R-Ind.), Darrel Issa (R-Calif.), Joe Barton (R-Texas) and Marsha Blackburn (R-Tenn.) in introducing a resolution, which is similar to a resolution recently proposed by Democrats Collin Peterson (Minn) and Ike Skelton (Miss). Senator Lisa Murkowski (R-Alaska) will push the same proposal in the Senate.

This is a no brainer. They need to put their foot down on Obama's and his dingbat, affirmative action EPA chief's throat.

Notice that only a resolution, not a law would block the True Believers at EPA. Article I Section 1 of the Constitution grants all legislative power to Congress. The EPA is but one of many monster agencies that issue regulations with the force of law despite the clear Constitutional language. It is only when we the people threaten our Congress-clowns with their jobs do they stand up against unconstitutional agencies of legislative power.

The illegal actions by the EPA fascists against a Michigan farmer proved beyond a doubt that this federal environmental cult is a criminal organization. Their crimes were publicly exposed in Rapanos v US, including the deliberate effort to ignore rulings by the USSC. These illegal actions were enough to arrest and imprison the entire EPA leadership, IMO. Congress did nothing.

Tricky Dick Nixon was warned that the creation of the fascist EPA would lead to an abusive bureaucracy that would destroy property rights much as the Hitler bureaucracy did in Germany in the 1930s.

For this one action, I despise that RINO pig Nixon.

And because congress refuses to rein in these unelected fascists, I favor states passing laws to arrest and imprison - 50 years minimum - federal fascist bureaucrats for violating constitiutional law. I also favor the state executing these fascists if they endanger or kill citizens. Unaccountable bureaucrats writing law is clearly unconstitutional.
