White House press secretary Robert Gibbs said Thursday the White House hopes to see the House approve the healthcare bill by March 18, the first day of the NCAA college basketball tournament and just before President Barack Obama leaves the country on an international trip.
Based on conversations the White House has had with Democratic leaders in the House and Senate, healthcare reform is on track to move through Congress before Obama leaves for the trip to Indonesia and Australia, Gibbs said.

Any talk about being "on schedule" is just so much hand waving. Pelosi needs to convince the Pro-lifers in the House that they won't be screwed by the Senate if they vote for the Senate Bill. We need to convince them that they will indeed get a royal screwing by the Senate and that we will make them pay the ultimate price in November if they fall for the Obama-Peloi-Reid "Don't Worry, We'll Take Care of It in the Reconciliation Bill" scam.
In the e-mails that need to flow to every Congressman it should be emphasized that they will pay for a YES vote on the Senate Bill. As for those who think it can be fixed by a Reconciliation Bill they need to be reminded that they are fools if they count on a flaky process like Reconciliation that could hit a "convenient" bump in the road even if the Senate appears to be trying in good faith to follow through on their promises to the House. Would any congressman trust Harry Reid if his/her career was on the line? Only a fool would do that. But, of course, there are plenty of fools in the Dem ranks.

Lawyer George Felos helped write the "end of life" (death panel) provisions for BARACK. I wouldn't doubt if Felos told Barack to choose that day. Felos ALWAYS did really evil things on symbolic days. Seriesly. Palin is right about death panels. Felos wrote the stuff for Zeke Emmanuel and for HHS in Obamacare!
