This is not paranoia. Media Matters, a Soros outfit, is hiring "interns" to come on conservative forums and try to sow division, slow down momentum, forment confusion. And they are better at it than they used to be. They don't curse and swear like liberals on their own forums do.

I've been amazed and disheartened more than once to see what is a definite troll post only to see many FR'ers swallow it and jump on the bandwagon.

Some "tells"--when my BSometer goes off, I immediately check join-date. 1) Many are right around early fall, 2004. This would be just before the Kerry defeat, and was when I started getting a lot of garbage from Moveon. 2) Some of the Palin Deranged may be Romneybots, but they could also be pretending to be Romneybots. Any true Romney people should keep an eye out for these, because they'll hurt Romney as well as Palin (full disclosure, I held my nose and voted for Mitt in the primary, Thompson was already making dropout noises) 3) They have new rhetorical tells. I suggest reading this thread http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/2463717/posts to get a feel for the newer style. 4) Listen for posts that start out--"I love Sarah Palin, too, but she just doesn't have enough education or experience" and other memes. "I am concerned"

Some of the lord McCain groupies are in the mix as well. And the Paul drinkers, who think it is fine to 'earmark' our tax dollars for the purpose of buying votes, but it is NOT in our interest to stop these lunatic terrorist killers in their own sand pits.

I’m much more concerned about these gangs:

“We need homosexuals in the military because they will cause no trouble. it’s fair, I’ve fought beside them [yeah, right!] and will help military readiness and if you’re opposed you’re a hateful bigot” gang.

And besides, if the moderate Muslims don’t speak up about their jihad loving brethren then they aren’t too moderate. I do realize they are in fear of their lives so that counts for their silence to some degree. But the ones in the US? They could speak out against jihad but how many of them do?? hmm?
