LOS ANGELES -- Tourists are lining up for L.A.'s newest attraction; an up close and personal look at the Southland's famous gang neighborhoods.
"L.A. Gang Tours," which began operations in January, takes tourists to the streets that gave rise to the Crips, Bloods and other notorious gangs. L.A. Gang Tours, founded by a former self professed gang member, is already beginning to sell out.
That funny
My aunt used live in East LA she tell me don’t go out in night now she live in Palm Springs for kids health
Damn, you’re good.
Please do not feed.........!
In the 60’s they did the same thing in S.F. w/ the hippies. Narrated bus tours.
LOL. I am originally from Paterson, NJ. There was never any doubt when you were in the wrong neighborhood. Newark is also No-Mans Land.
I used to work in the Iron Bound south of Union Station in Newark. The word was “don’t go north of Union Station unless you are supported by a panzer division. The Portugese ran the Iron Bound and you never had to worry about much at any time of day. Thank God for the Portugese when my car engine frooze in East Orange at 11:00 PM. Was saved by a nice couple who got me to a gas station and tow truck. The real irony that caused my engine to freeze was the NJ law prohibiting drivers from doing anything to their car in a gas station. My oil light was on so I asked the attendant to check the oil. He said it was good. An hour later I lost an engine because of no oil. NJ attendant law was envisioned to create jobs - it did, it employed a mechanic to rebuild my engine. I was so glad to move south. Yankees are nuts.
but first thing in the morning; all was quiet.
Its not like they have to get to work or anything. The worse part of DC to get lost in if 5 Points in Anacostia. There really is no good option when trying to find a place to turn around and escape. Used to live on Capital Hill and would occasionally space my exit on the SE Freeway. Once you miss the 1oth St exit you are on a one way trip to Tarzan Land.
(Comment by a white boy that worked near 32nd st and Main street for 20 years)
Who going lead the tour bus
Looter guy
I currently have co-workers who are from So Central and they do concur that even THEY arent’t dumb enough to just wander out at night.
We all went out to dinner to a club on Crenshaw and she tells me as we drove along :”dont go there”...”yeah, it’s safe there”...”dont even try turning to that street”...
Yup. I would never live in the NE again.
The odds of getting out of Newark without being car-jacked are small. Glad it worked out for ya.
Sheesh...I was born & raised in the Vermont Harbor area of L.A. and did everything to get out of there. I have no idea why people would want to see it.
If I were to make a guess, I’d guess that their clientele is 50% Japanese tourists, 25% Chinese tourists, and 25% Europeans.
