Sarah Palin's secret "laugh track" machine at Jay Leno show: makes Adam Lambert fans like her, too!
New Palin scandal: Leno might have piped in some laughter for her jokes ^ | March 6, 2010 | RonDog (and FRiends)

Sarah Palin's secret "laugh track" machine at Jay Leno show:
makes Adam Lambert fans like her, too!

(An "after action" report from FReepers who were actually in the studio audience.)
In perhaps the worst possible development for the radical left since the discovery of Karl Rove's now infamous "Weather Machine," Governor Palin's recently exposed top secret "laugh track" machine appears to also have even more dastardly powers than were originally feared.

In addition to altering the space-time continuum, and reprogramming the master computers at NBC – to cause laughter during Sarah's monologue to appear where none had been before, and send well-intentioned jeers and "groans" from her wannabe stalkers into the abyss – this mysterious device apparently also exerts some kind of irresistible mind control powers over the loyal fans of "American Idol" megastar Adam Lambert, causing many of them to actually like the producer of the upcoming new "Alaska Valley Days" TV series, Governor Sarah Palin.

Or, at least, that's what the Kos Kids would like you to believe.

Many of those wacky ultra-left "conspiracy-mongers" who post at such online cesspools as the Daily Kos, Huffpo and DU have been foaming at the mouth all week about Sarah's "rock star" performance during for last week's taping of "Day Two" of Jay Leno's return to the traditional 11:35 pm time slot for the "Tonight Show."

Since I was actually in the studio audience last week when Governor Palin made her "comedy debut" – with a small band of "Palin palm print"-bearing FReepers (and FRiends) who had crashed the party with the intention of acting as "Ed McMahon" to Sarah's "Johnny Carson" – I call BS on their widely-reported, but easily-debunked, "laugh track" conspiracy theory.

In my not so humble opinion, however, the REAL "back story" behind last week's studio audience, which has naturally NOT been covered in the "State-Controlled Media" – was that a huge percentage of that relatively "pro-Palin" audience last week were "glamberts"– that is, hard core fans of "American Idol" singer Adam Lambert, whom many music lovers view as a contemporary reincarnation of Elvis. (Or, perhaps Liberace.)

In this thread, which will serve as the "after action" report for our recent Leno FReep, I intend to explore this strange – and very unexpected (to me) twist – on the controversial "big tent" philosophy of the new Republican party. And that strange new twist is, many Adam Lambert fans support Sarah Palin!

I am particularly interested in hearing on this thread from ADAM LAMBERT FANS who support Sarah Palin, but I would also like to hear from CONSERVATIVES who may have reservations about welcoming this new group of Palin supporters, many of whom have been NOT previously been engaged (or informed) in the political arena.

Personally, I like the concept of "My tent, my rules."

That is, we welcome the electoral support of just about ANYBODY – but only on OUR terms. I believe that the conservative political movement should be like America itself: everyone is welcome here – IF you agree to certain fundamental, non-negotiable principles.

Please post YOUR comments and opinions about Sarah Palin and the "glamberts" here.

Thank you,
RonDog

Adam Lambert is the last thing I want to think about. Connecting the two would cost Palin support. lol.

"I bet we will see Glambert fans doing Sarah in drag-which is a huge compliment to her on the planet they come from."

LOL - I'm an Adam fan, and I did go as 'Future President Palin' for Halloween, but I'm a woman so I guess that wouldn't count!

I don’t know a thing about American Idol. I see the name “Adam Lambert” and my mind is thinking of a cartoon. I think I have it crossed up with “Adam at Home” and “Dilbert”.

Perhaps its just a public persona, but I watched the Tonight Show to see Palin and Adam Labert came across as a manic depressive that won’t live long.

CHECK IT OUT!

In between bashing Sarahcuda, Jon Liebowitz AKA Jon Stewart had a nice word to say about her comedy routine.

If Jan-Napolitano dressed up as Palin, THAT would count as drag!

*;)

Someone could make a fortune selling Glambert costumes, wigs and make-up at Halloween...

I’ve noticed that as well - wonder why Cameron detests her so much? Then again, wasn’t he the one almost in tears while covering Hillary’s concession speech in ‘08?

I have never watched American Idol. Not my scene, or my type of music.

I must admit I never heard of Adam Lambert. But I enjoyed listening to Elvis before he left the building, and I was pretty conservative even back then.

I feel like she has already fallen into John McCain's trap

She didn't fall into McCains trap, she walked into a trap of her own making, and she has not one to blame but herself.

She could have avoided all this by simply realizing that if he was good enough to be President, and gave him her endorsement for that position, she might have to endorse him as being good enough to be a Senator.

She should have said NO to being on the ticket with him in 2008.

It's her own doing, not McCains. She could have said no.

Believe it or not, the same party I went to that night had a guy wearing a Glambert costume (which was actually a big hit with the ladies)!

It amazes me that the left criticize Sarah Palin for going on TV when Obamanothin is on all the time. She got rock star status because for me, she is a rock star, of the right. If she was as stupid as the left says she is, why are they so afraid of her?? President Bush may not have had the speaking ability of let’s say Reagan, but he is just as smart, NO, smarter than Obamdiot thinks he is. I love seeing the occasional email with President Bush smiling and waving at the camera and the caption says, “Are you missing me yet?” I have been missing him since January 20th, 2008 when the idiot in chief started destroying our country.

I was gonna ask who Adam Lambert is.

Thanks for posting the pics so now I know who or what he is.

I’m not a fan of Adam Lambert, I guess. Just based on the pics, that is.

I know the Great Generation was not perfect, but I’d much rather go to a Glenn Miller concert than a Pearl Jam concert.

Chalk up one vote from me on this. Ft. Worth's Tex Beneke warm voice and his playfulness with the Modernaires are wonderful entertainment.

I never cared much for Benny Goodman's jazzy music -- too abrasive to my ears. My tastes of that era's music tend toward the Vaughn Monroe/Glenn Miller style, which was and is sometimes criticized as being ``commercial''. Well, that's plus in book! :-)

As as for Adam Lambert -- didn't even know who he was until I saw him mentioned in this thread. I may be the last person in the world in the world who has never seen ``American Idol''. Aside from news and sports, the only television program I watch is ``24''.
