Preoccupied with healthcare and expanding government, Obama is still working full throttle to shove through an immigration reform bill prior to the midterm elections. To appease the influential La Raza movement, Obama met privately with his staff this week to devise a measure that will grant United States citizenship to the country's estimated 11 million illegal immigrants.

You’re right. Many experts (including Robert Rector of Heritage) put the real figure at closer to 20 million.

Andrew Johnson was impeached for “high crimes and misdemeanors” because Congress believed he was not obeying and enforcing federal laws. By the way, he was acquitted by only ONE vote. A case could be made against Obama but the will is lacking. A president could only be subject to criminal prosecution AFTER he was removed from office.

I agree with all you said. The latest CBO report says ObamaCare will cost over a trillion dollars more than he claimed! The national credit card is maxed out and soon we’ll be paying billions just in interest on the debt!

Gramnesty is the one who called all of us who wanted secure borders and a stop to the illegal tsunami “bigots” back in ‘06 when he and McCain were supporting “comprehensive immigration reform.” Remember that? I don’t know what’s in the drinking water up there in South Carolina - supposedly a conservative state and they keep re-electing that moron!

There were 10 million illegal aliens in California in 1996.

THAT’S A FACT.

Not True. Even Bill Clinton, as sitting President, was subject to a civil lawsuit in the Paula Jones sexual harrasment case. Clinton’s lawyers argued Executive Privilege which was denied by the Federal Judge hearing the case in Little Rock.

Clinton was forced to give a civil deposition in the Map Room of the White House from which his obviously perjured statements led to his impeachment by the House of Representatives.

No one is above the law nor below the law in the United States. Not even a sitting President.

That’s true for a CIVIL suit but I referred specifically to a criminal suit. From the latter a presiding president has immunity. Even an impeachment is not a legal conviction but more like an indictment.
