Demographers Say 48 Percent Of Kids Born In 2008 Were Minorities, And This Year Could Be The "Tipping Point"

WASHINGTON (AP) - This could be the year that the number of babies born to minorities in America outnumbers babies born to whites.
That's because immigration has boosted the number of Hispanic women in their prime childbearing years. Hispanic women have an average 2.99 children to 1.87 among white women. In 2008, 48 percent of the children born in the U.S. were minorities.
Sociology professor Kenneth Johnson of the University of New Hampshire says by mid-century, census projections suggest that America "may become a minority-majority country." But at the moment, whites make up two-thirds of the total population.
The birth numbers highlight the nation's growing racial and age divide. There are strong implications for the 2010 population count, which begins in earnest next week.
Where did you obtain your statistic? It is my understanding that 20% of African Americans have white ancestry and 30% of White Americans have a African American Ancestor. Of course, this dose not take into account Indian or Asian ancestry, but even if included, I doubt it would be as low as 30 percent.
That's exactly what Bill Ayers, the Weather Underground, and "Black Liberation" movement wanted to do. In fact, cofounder of the Weather Underground, wife of Bill Ayers, Bernardine Dohrn actually used Manson to inspire and motivate her troops.

You beat me to it. White colonists overwhelmed the Indians in the U.S. with their large numbers, augmented by a high birth rate. American immigration caused Mexico to lose Texas and the rest of the Southwest. Now the SW is turning back into Mexico, thanks to demographics.
Yep, the Weather Underground splintered off from the SDS (who together with the Black Panthers and the Yippies were are the core of the 1968 Chicago riots). The first Weather Underground act was the “days of rage” riots in 1969 during the Chicago 7 trial.
The Weather Underground are labelled a 1960s radical group but CLEARLY their activity (which stretched into the 1980s when they robbed a bank to fund their activities) was primarily in the 1970s. LONG after wee little Obama was “only 8 years old”.
Even the Black Nationalists didn’t like the Weather Underground trying to tie themselves to their movement.

Not all people are protected from hate speech even if they appear to fit a demographic.
The California congressman who got a DUI charge this last week has been hounded because he admits to being gay but he didn’t support the homosexual agenda’s legislation.
It isn’t about skin color. It’s about protecting political demographics. But it isn’t even about seeing that bloc’s collective advancement. Somehow Obama’s administration “looks like America” yet Bush’s diverse cabinet “didn’t”.

The Black Panthers were Maoist revolutionaries just like the Weather Underground. And the Black Liberation Army carried out several terror attacks and robberies together with the Weather Underground, including the 1983 Brinks Truck job and the bombing of the San Fran police station, which, btw, is still trying to be reopened as evidence is strong that Bill Ayers' wife, Bernardine Dohrn, made and planted the bomb that killed at least one cop and maimed some others, herself.
Today we received a “your census form will come in a week letter” in the mail directing us to 2010census.gov for any needful information.
It included directions to the website in Spanish, Chinese, Korean, Vietnamese, and Russian. How obvious.

Very true. Unfortunately the illegals who come here are typically totally uninterested in assimilation and want to retain the "culture" of the toilet bowl they fled. They have no scruples about stealing things like shopping carts or anything else that isn't nailed down and protected.

Stats are from a mixed race political activism race. The Native American mix is very, very high in North America. Look at Mexico, It is by far the majority of the population there.
And in Oklahoma where I grew up, and indeed all of the cultural Southwest it is extremely common.
