Breaker Morant was a great movie and Woodword was a great actor. I didn’t know he died either.

Yeah he died of pneumonia on November 17th.
Quite a few decent actors passed away last year. Karl Malden, and Patrick McGoohan (of Prisoner and Secret Agent Fame)to name two.

Which brings us to this joke...
Farrah Fawcett passes away and she meets St. Peter at the Pearly Gates. St. Peter tells her, "Farrah, God was so impressed by how courageously you fought cancer that He decided to give you a wish before you join us in Heaven. What would you like that wish to be?"
Farrah replies "I wish for all the children in the world to be safe."
Hours later, Michael Jackson was dead.

Farah was in 11 full length, theatrical movies. MJ between 1 and 3, though it's tough to sort out on IMBD.

“...Farrah Fawcett is a devout Catholic Christian...longtime boyfriend [with whom she lived without benefit of marriage] Ryan O’Neal”
Her “devotion” didn’t translate into obedience to God’s commands about marriage.
The omission during the memorial tribute seemed, at first, to be an unfortunate oversight. The producer’s comments make it clear it was no oversight. Certainly disappointing for her fans and family.

Davis, who also says he stands by the decision about Fawcett's absence, had considered including her, but ultimately felt her "remarkable television work" would be more appropriately honored at the TV Academy's Emmys...Pompous moron. I loved her in The Apostle.

Weird thing about Edward Woodwards movie roles. In Breaker Morant, he died as an atheist at sunrise, and in The Wicker Man he died as a Christian at sunset.

I think I read Edward Woodward is another one who got snubbed, along with Jean Simmons, Bea Arthur, and others. Don’t know who exactly picked the names to be mentioned but it looks like they blew it.

I think Woodward was one of the few actors who actually was nominates for an Emmy after they cancelled his show (The Equalizer) I think the guy went up for best actor 3 years in a row.
Sad, he really was quite a good actor and tenor also.
He sang several of the songs in the movie, Breaker Morant.

OK sorry I had read she was omitted. I thought they missed a couple of other major names too but I am not sure.

Don’t forget Saturn 3.
The movie where she ran around with a naked Kirk Douglas being chashed by an evil robot.
I actually like that movie.
