US President Barack Obama has joked that half of the 40,000 letters that pour into the White House each day brand him an "idiot''.
Tongue-in-cheek, the President remarked that his staff did not spare him the wrath of his correspondents - selecting a representative portion of 10 letters for him to read when he returns to the White House residence at night.
"I will tell you, that my staff is very even-handed, because about half of these letters call me an idiot!'' Mr Obama said overnight, chuckling at his own joke during a rally in Saint Louis, Missouri.

Well, at least half of the people are right. :O)
That is why he gets only ten letters...they can only fivnd five positive ones, so to make it seem even-handed, they limit the bad ones to 5 as well.
Out of his first thousand letters, I bet 995 called him unflattering names or made allusions to what he could not sell on the side of the road, even if the troopers were directing traffice to his stand.
Obama, the first step is to admit you have a problem.

He’s probably lying about that, too! I’ll bet more than 3/4 brand him an idiot or worse! LOL!
When he mentions “half his letters” he means the 10 that are selected by his staff. And he may be right. 50% of the letters selected by his staff may be positive. However my guess is that 90% of the letters written to a President are negative. People don’t go to that much trouble to send fluff.
And those are the favorable letters. The other half call him a Communist bent on destroying the American way of life.
