Fox news showed the Democratic talking points that they're supposed to use to defend this. It counters most of what's in this article.

Obamacare is going to be cheaper, more efficient, fairer, allow more options, save fuzzy bunnies, clean the air, reverse global warming, prevent martians from attacking, get congressman reelected, make Nancy Pelosi attractive, make cats and dogs get along, restore unicorn breeding grounds, make all Americans rich and good looking, and promote world peace. Anyone who is against Obamacare is against all that is good in America.

because...

MOST of us HAVE ‘healthcare’ that suits us JUST fine.

HALF of us UNDERSTAND that this has NOTHING to do with healthcare - rather, it’s just a major power-grab by Socialists in their quest to overtake the American system.

Those with ANY common sense know by now that NOBODY even knows exactly what’s in the stupid bill. Even if it WAS on the up and up, it’s the same as writing our government a blank check.
-Oh yeah... guess who has to pay the bill...

WRONG, WRONG, WRONG!

The Public Opposes Obamacare Because... our fearless leader, who is morally, intellectually, spiritually and physically superior to us in every way, has simply not yet had the time to explain to us how GREAT it is, using short, simple words that we can all understand.

Once we UNDERSTAND how great he... I mean IT, is, we’ll support it...

;-)

There’s another issue that has me riled right now. When was the last time anyone heard a democrat mention anything about the Skittles-Crapping Unicorns we were promised?

I distinctly remember being lectured about how horrible everything was under GWB, but that if we could ONLY have Barack Obama as our president everything would be fine and lovely, kum-ba-ya would be sung every night around an environmentally friendly camp-fire; AND, everyone in America would receive a magic unicorn that eats toxic waste and craps Skittles.

Now, I really don’t care one way or another about the nightly renditions of kum-ba-ya or the environmentally friendly campfires; in fact, I can easily live without them. The magic unicorns, though, are another matter entirely. My family and I were REALLY looking forward to having our property cleaned up and to enjoying the fantastic, fruit-y-licious, flavors of those sweet little candies known as Skittles.

Mr. Obama has been in office more than a full year, now. There are THREE people living in my house, and so far only ONE unicorn has arrived — and I don’t think it’s a MAGIC unicorn, either.

It won’t drink my waste oil or even get close to my barrel of 2-4D, and the only thing I’ve ever seen it eat is the money from my wallet. And its droppings? …well, let’s just say they sure don’t taste like any Skittles I’VE ever eaten before!

In fact, after last night I’m pretty sure that thing isn’t even a REAL unicorn. About 9:30 pm I went out to my garage to grab a frosty cold one from the “beer fridge”. I noticed some movement outside, through the window in the garage door. When I looked out, I could have SWORN I saw Rahm Emmanuel kneeling on the driveway super-gluing a traffic cone to a donkey’s forehead.

All I know is, until this whole Magic Unicorn/Skittles issue is cleared up I’M not trusting the Obama Administration to get ANYTHING right!

BECAUSE: We are free people. We must not find ourselves in a position where we have to crawl to our government to get the minimal things necessary to preserve our lives.

This is it, boys. This is the contest that will define our people for the next ten generations. Shall we live as free people, or will we live as subjects of the ever growing, ever more abusive state? This question will be decided in the next thirty days.

Yep, ditto for Tennessee. All the while 0 and his buddies are gut and cutting SS, Medicare, Tricare for Life for the Retired Military over 65, giving them NO COLA raises for 3 years, 1 of our CD investments renewal’s came in and the new rate is 1.34%, down from 1.78% which was down from the 5% under GW. All so they can give freebies to college students and illegals.

When commie rags like Mother Jones starts reporting that he’s going to cut and gut SS and Medicare....buyer beware.

Code Red” - House Target List on Health Care

The National Republican Congressional Committee has published a target list on health care. In addition to continuing to contact the five Tennessee Democrat Congressmen, you can go http://www.votervoice.net/link/clickthrough/ext/94697.aspx to contact some of these targets. Much of the talk following Obama’s announcement has focused on how to defeat this second bill through reconciliation, but that is misleading because the first step to defeating Obamacare is not by concentrating on defeating the “fixer” bill but by defeating the Senate bill in the House when it goes to the floor for an up-or-down vote on Thursday, March 18th.

The Public Opposes Obamacare Because...
It will destroy the business model of the private insurers instantly with its abolition of the "preexisting condition" exclusion, turning every insurer into a provider of welfare.

It is therefore a "single payer" system. And since whoever pays the piper calls the tune, it is a single tune-caller system - tyranny.

Beyond which, since it is "revenue neutral" only on the assumption that we pay for six years of benefits with ten years of taxes, its price to the taxpayer is radically lowballed.
Just for starters.

People understand that they intend to use public health as an umbrella to control every aspect of our lives. That is how they will go after the second ammendment, what we eat, how we raise our children, and it goes on and on. Thay must be stopped.
