WASHINGTON (AP) ― Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid's wife and daughter are recovering in a Washington-area hospital after a car accident.
A spokesman for Reid says the majority leader's wife, Landra, and their daughter, Lana, were injured Thursday when their vehicle was rear-ended. Reid left the Senate for the hospital. The spokesman says details are unclear.

Harry is hearing nothing... he rushed back to work on the healthcare debacle instead of remaining by the side of his wife and daughter. Bad husband and father and bad Senator.

My Father in Law had two strokes this week and my husband and daughter are flying out to be at his side. We are pretty strapped financially, but this is family and that’s what you do.

Somewhere along the line, decades spent in DC became a badge of honor rather than a mark of shame. They should be embarrassed by the amount of time they’ve spent chasing power, stroking their egos and neglecting what is important.

This is kind of how AlQaida guided the plane into the area of the Pentagon. They had ground guides with cellphones along the route, and a guy on the plane taking orders.
It's really difficult to see the ground going 500 MPH when you are only a few thousand feet up.
This could easily have been a "decapitation" event by AlQaida except Harry wasn't in the car.
So why did the "fibbies" take Harry back downtown and out of Fairfax hospital? The answer is easy ~ the hospital was not a secure area. Makes me believe that at that time they were thinking this could have been a terrorist attack.
Still waiting on somebody to say it's not ~ and they haven't done so.
This part of I95 has MANY cameras so there are hours and hours of viewing pleasure that's going to give the federales some idea of how it happened.

Yep, he went back to work. Someone must have informed the old coot about the outrage brewing about his callousness, because sometime a little later they announced he was going back to the hospital.
Apparently he told people he left the first time because he knew they were in good hands.

I heard they were resting comfortably. I am also sure Harry is back at work trying to ruin our healthcare.
The sick part is that he is probably trying to find a way to get some political gain off the broken back of his wife.
