More and more editorials outside the second amendment community are taking the position of praising Starbucks for standing their ground against the gun control bully The Brady Center For the Prevention of Handgun Violence, a non-profit. This is most significant.
Brady prevents nothing in the way of violence, as it bullies companies into submission and compels them to give in to disarming their employees or students and now customers. In bullying companies to refuse business to armed customers in states where it is perfectly legal to carry your loaded sidearm, gun control forces corporations to enforce rules that arent there in the state law. This can alienate customer and business and begin a lot more damage as it operates outside of due process and goes against the better judgment of both business and customer. Customers get cheated out of their rights and businesses lose the respect of customers for giving in.

I’m amused that so many in the media are being more vocal about this. I think that as people see the tent starting to fall in, more will flee for freedom knowing that they could take care of themselves.
I refuse to believe that we’re all doomed. I still believe there’s some fight left in the American public. We’re not all descended from Hippies!
This is a good article.
I have plans to go into our local Starbucks for the first time today (I am not a coffee drinker). I will buy a couple of pounds of their coffee and let them know that I appreciate their stand on the Second Amendment.
I’m hoping that many other citizens will commend them for their actions.
The Left realizes that they are losing more and more ground in the court of public opinion no matter how they try to frame their ideas. This is leading to the Leftists literally foaming at the mouth on TV and mouthing off totally incoherent, filthy, and idiotic words . As the Right wakes up and takes a stand against the Left’s agenda it is resulting in causing the Left to show who they really are at heart.
It is only going to get worse before it gets better, but in the mean time we can get out the popcorn and watch them fall on their own swords.
>Gun control nuts are becoming suicidal
I’m tempted to say “they can use my gun if they want.”
;)
I’m looking forward to rounding them up when they go totally stir crazy.

Better make plans to stop by the bank for a loan, first.
It would be nice to confine them to an island with shark-infested waters.
Like the Penal Colony of French Guyana “Devil’s Island” ? >:-)
I’ll probably get flamed for saying this but I’m amazed Starbucks has stayed the course in allowing guns in their stores.
The gun rights folks are overdoing it by purposely going into Starbucks stores with their guns. It’s bad press, even thou it’s legal. Having lots of folks walking around with guns is not normal and looks a little wacky to the average joe. Starbucks could easily say enough already, we are OK with guns, but don’t want the wacky press coverage so we’re banning them to put an end to this.
How the heck did Starbucks get singled out anyhow? Most stores allow guns.
We need solutions to abuses of power, and those solutions need to come from the electorate for a change and not from officials. That means electorate-originated thought and not official-originated thought. Brady and gun control obviously do not speak for the electorate, except in a very small, anti-liberty faction; we will always have people who hate this country, unafraid to say so, really, unafraid of what you think (obviously) about takings and getting others to enforce them.
Nothing would say Hatred of American Independence better than gun control and bulling people into it.
This November, vote for Independence from public servants.
Well—there is that—but I have a few bucks stashed in a sock for emergencies—I’ll just call this an emergency—LOL!
Quite right because nobody has $10 of discretionary funds just lying around.
I think the ‘house blend’ is ten bucks a pound
and it goes right on up from there.
I drink coffee; a lot of coffee.
Ten bucks a pound is a bit pricey in my book.
They can have my coffee cup
when they pry it from my cold dead fingers.
I’m not a big fan of starbucks coffee, because it’s a bit over-roasted for my taste. The best way to buy coffee is unroasted. There are several websites that sell green beans, which you can roast yourself for a heck of a lot less than you can find in a supermarket or starbucks. I roast my own, and can really tell the difference.
Having lots of people walking around with guns is normal in Free America.
Or put the yoots on the island with them and watch the Lord Of The Flies scenario happen.
I think you’re onto something.
I have a hunch they might then see they light when there is no 911 to call nor any armed security guards available.
