We are the United STATES of America and it is about darn time that the STATES stand up to the power grab and centralization that is going on in the Federal Government. At a minimum, the Governors need to state that they will sue the Federal government if the bill is illegally passed through reconciliation or slaughter. Perhaps Texas should dust off the plans to divest from the union. If we cannot count on the integrity of the constitution to be upheld by the federal government, I expect the STATES to step up to the plate.
We need to take a long look at our statehouses and make sure they aren’t just as much of a problem first.
They won’t need to if they wait much longer. We The People will take matters into our own hands if Congress keeps on keepin’ on.

It is beyond silly to suggest the state of Texas divest from the union. I wish people would stop this. It makes us look like idiots. That is such a small amt of people who talk about that here. Most of us just cringe when any politician suggest such a thing.

I completely understand your frustration, but take a deep breath. Those of us that understand, and I count you as one, need to go tactical. Think Chess as opposed to mumdeledepeg. The libs can’t. There are a LOT more of us than them. We just have to be smarter, and that’s not too hard. PM me if you want to talk strateegery...
That is not being a wimp. It is simply having common sense. In the governors race..no one..Perry or Hutchison or Medina were in favour of seceding from the Union. Nor is anyone in the office of the Republican Party of Texas. And these are not wimps by any stretch of the imagination. They just are not extremists.

Hey, we all want a way to end this nightmare. The problem we have is that nobody has the guts to stop this nightmare. Why, because it will take something that none of us ever imagined and only have read about in history books.
