IS THIS SCARY??? Cartoon from 1934
This cartoon was in the Chicago Tribune in 1934. Look carefully at the plan of action in the lower left corner.
"Those who do not remember the past are doomed to repeat it."
Does any of this look familiar????? Just wow!

This one’s been kicking around for years. And agreed - it is VERY scary. Definitely worth posting every once in a while.

Here’s an old FR thread with an even older booklet written in 1938. Called “The Revolution Was”, by Garret Garrett, a conservative writer back in the day.
Just like your cartoon (well, much longer!), EVERYTHING that Garret describes about FDR can be said about Obama. It is not that unbelievable when one figures that to a marxist like Obama, FDR had the correct, and highly succesful, model to follow. He just didn’t go far enough.

If I were a cartoonist, I would draw a modern version with the appropriate suspects, and juxtapose the 2 cartoons with the title ‘Times have changed, but Communism’s methods and goals have not’.

The fact that it ran in the Chicago Tribune is doubly ironic. I guess that is when they realized they needed to take over the media.

Same old, same old-note some of the names(Ickes) are the same, although the younger Ickes is not in Obama’s group of red thugs, he was in Clinton’s and is still hanging around ready to become one of the ruling elite.
