I’m guessing something just happened and sly congressional staffers are moving the market. I hope. If this holds bad news for the bill will likely break tomorrow.
Someone mentioned in the other thread that CBO numbers on the HCR bill are about to come out. Maybe insiders heard some news?

Keep in mind, these markets are VERY thin. The “real-world” markets like the stock market have enough trouble pricing in information; compound that even further for InTrade where there are less participants. In my opinion, InTrade is for entertainment only.
Still, it could be a good sign...
Or Kucinich isn’t voting “yes” and is going to announce a bunch of others who are “no” votes, too?

Will someone please enlighten me? When I go to intrade.com, I see the price is $35. Yet the graph to its right seems to indicate a 70% chance that health care control will pass? What am I missing?

Although the “last trade” (at this moment) was at 35, the bid-ask spread is 50-66. That one transaction may have done through (in a thin market), but I don’t think the “real” price is down to 35 yet. Could be some clever market manipulation.
