The pretending has got to stop. I've HAD IT with every single Liberal/Democrat in my life. I don't care if you're an Aunt, Cousin, neighbor or a life-long friend. I don't care that we go to the same church, coach my son's basketball or if we have kids that hang out together.
There's no longer room in my life for you or anyone who would associate themselves with those who are purposefully dismantling the country my children will have to live in.
I'm ready to post to Facebook that what's going on in our Government in broad daylight should bring nothing but SHAME and DISGUST to anyone with a lick of sense. And if you voted for Øbama or any of the Congressional crotch-fruit who is breaching the oath they took to uphold the U.S. Constitution, you can go straight to HELL! Un-friend me now.
To overtly disenfranchise the 2/3rds of us who can see the corrupt action this week as the Coup d'état that is is unconscionable. Not to mention the rest of the SOCIALIST ECONOMIC BULLSHIT they've shoved down our throats this past year.

You are so right. How do you deal with longtime friends that are so brainwashed and so willing to give up their and my country? We have 3 children, 2 out of 3 are Conservative, we lost one to liberalism and he refuses to speak to anyone in the family-liberalism is a great part of the problem. So sad.

Hey, believe me, you want miss them. I have two liberal sisters and because our entire family has been consecrative since the Civil War, I have absolutely nothing to do with them. It has been this way for twenty years now. I’m sixty six years of age
and I don’t plan on changing....if there is any changing it will have to be on their part. And, when I dumped them I dissociated my self with all liberals. I don’t miss any of them and you want either !!!!
I’m hear ya. In fact, I’m considering not attended a Passover seder in a couple weeks because of the anti-2nd Amendment, Israel-despising, Hamas-sympathizing, Obama-loving socialists in attendance. Just can’t stomach sharing the occasion with them. ...and I suspect the feeling is mutual. A couple seders ago they almost choked on their gefilte fish when I voiced my political views in decidedly undiplomatic fashion.

This vaguely reminds me of an old book or movie where the premise is that in the distant future someone finds an old copy of the Constitution. Does anyone remember that?
I did that and it included close relatives. I don’t regret it.

Wow I was literally just thinking the exact same thing today — and I was feeling really guilty about it. I have a couple of good friends who have left messages lately and frankly I can’t find the inspiration to talk to them. It used to be a little amusing to get into political arguments with all the lefties in my life. But I’m in battle mode right now - it is US vs. THEM and I cannot let anyone off the hook. If what the Democrats are doing to get this bill through is ‘OK’ to you — you are the enemy. If you can passively, blithely observe these events like just another day of news — you are the enemy.
I am outraged. I am horrified. If I really get into a passionate debate about this I cry. I want nothing to do with liberals ever again. I just want to do all that I can to help save this Country.
