Male-on-male sexual assaults in military

A national defense analyst and Pentagon advisor says a recent report concerning the alarming rate of male-on-male sexual assaults in the military should create a roadblock to President Obama's efforts to repeal the 1993 law banning homosexuals from military service.

An annual report from the Department of Defense reveals that over the past year, reports of sexual assaults in the military have increased by 11 percent, including a 16-percent spike in reported incidents in combat areas, principally in Iraq and Afghanistan. While 87 percent of the reported assaults were male-on-female, seven percent were male-on-male.

Lt. Col. Bob Maginnis (USA-Ret.) was part of the military working group that helped craft the 1993 law known as Section 654, Title 10. The law states that homosexuality is incompatible with military service. Maginnis considers the seven-percent figure in male-on-male sexual assaults alarming.

"You've got to come to the conclusion that in the military, where we have a ban for that type of service and we're having a fairly significant incidence of assault that's associated with that type of activity, then you actually may have a worse problem than you think," he suggests.

"Seven percent is not something to dismiss lightly. If you're going to have that much homosexual assault, that's just the tip of the iceberg."

The retired Army officer says the increase of incidents of male-on-female sexual assaults is also very alarming and must be dealt with, especially in a time of war.

If you can’t take out a homosexual, maybe you shouldn’t be in the military.

The main fact in this story seems to be getting lost. 87% of sexual assaults are on women. The rules should be: no open gays in the military and no women in combat areas or on shipboard.

Male-on-male sexual assaults in military will swiftly get you beaten with inches of your life if not killed.

More circumstantial proof that ‘gayness’ will never be accepted by society.

‘Gays’ are open to blackmail, and endanger our military readiness.

They shouldn’t even be allowed in the military.

But wait, aren’t we being told they’re just like us . . . only different??????

When I was in the army, we had a suspected soldier who was drummed out of the service with a discharge in his hands! Don’t ask.

Eric Massa spent 24 years in the Navy and got out in one piece, never being hospitalized - let alone killed - for his long track record of propositioning subordinates.

This is why people who have never served in the military shouldn’t make policies affecting the military. These Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell policies affect the morale of the military, as well as recuiting efforts. What heterosexual individual wants to be placed in a situation that potentially exposes them to unwanted sexual advances by people who have more rights than they do?

If zero and the Dems keep this stuff up, the US military will become as relevant as the Dutch military.

And the irony of the accusation that the pope was indifferent to a child abuse case while he was archbishop of Munich thirty years ago, is that homosexual priests are prominent among among the liberals who hate the pope for his rejection of their anti-Christian agendas. It seems that priests are denounced by the gays for dong what they themselves routinely do to run aways in San Francisco and other gay enclaves.

Gosh, that’s exactly what I thought when I read this. Why are people in power so bent on denying human nature?

The assaults on women in the military should itself be a warming that the policies for integrating women into the military were misconceived. Reminding me that the gender walls were erected in the first place to protect women.

The current governments efforts to normalize ‘open’ homosexuals in the military has nothing to do with anyones rights. The modern American left despises our military and wants to destroy it as a culture. This attitude goes back as far as Patricia Schroeder...probably much further. To me, proof that they care nothing about the military’s state of readiness, morale or it’s war fighting capability is more than apparent by the way they literally collaborate with every enemy we have. For them to prevail, they must poison law enforcement and the military with political correctness.
