I’m in #12. #18 is the county just south of me. We sit here and look at the People’s Republic of Boulder and scratch our heads thinking they must be on another planet...

YEAH...my town made it. I figured it would, but we are growing and will have to work hard to keep it that way. Lots of loser liberals are moving to Texas trying to spoil our nest after they have screwed up their own cities.

I’m surprised to not see Pennington County, South Dakota on the list.

Can we see the top conservative minded countries, because we aren’t in one anymore, sadly.

Can’t believe they didn’t have Greenville County or Pickens County in South Carolina anywhere in the top 100. Leads me to believe they might want to modfiy their algorithm a bit.

Utah has five! It would have many more extremely conservative counties except the population doesn’t reach the criteria.

El Paso County (Colorado Springs) #18. Moved here from the Cincinnati area last summer which is another hotbed of conservatism, with several counties in the top 50.
Not bad, I know how to pick’em.

Orange County (#83) has rested on its laurels for too long. It no longer has the highest % Republican registration in California. My county, Placer (No. 89) does. I want a recount.

That’s an interesting list. Notice that Williamson Co., TN is the #1 conservative country here.

It is also the home town of the late, great Harry Browne, who was the Libertarian Party’s Presidential candidate in 1996 & 2000 (& who I voted for in both elections!).

Considering Relocating? Think about Colorado Springs…

I f you or a CONSERVATIVE person is considering relocating, I’d invite you to tell them about this family values oasis. I’d personally suggest Northern Colorado Springs as being the best and the most conservative.

And just to lay my cards on the table, I am not in the Real Estate business and make nothing off anyone moving here. I just know that Soros and others have dumped millions into Colorado and have succeeding in taking over the state government for the first time in decades recently.

The Springs loses out to Denver and Boulder in the state elections but it is still close enough to make a difference.
Pass this along.

18. El Paso County, Colo.
Largest city: Colorado Springs
Colorado Springs is the right-wing stronghold of Colorado. The Air Force Academy and NORAD are based in the county. About 19 percent of the population are civilian veterans, one of the highest rates in the nation. The other conservative influences are social: Focus on the Family is located in Colorado Springs, as are many other parachurch organizations. Colorado Springs was named by Money Magazine as the best big city to live in 2006.

http://dailycaller.com/2010/03/19/americas-top-20-conservative-friendly-counties/

Outside Magazine just ranking Colorado Springs as the best place to live.

http://outside.away.com/outside/destinations/200908/best-towns-america-colorado-springs.html

Outside Magazine lists as a drawback that it might be get this TOO CONSERVATIVE for some people.

As you know, Money Magazine consistently usually ranks it number 1 as well.

I am surprised to see some Minnesota counties listed here. Likely these are in the Congressional Districts of John Kline and Michelle Bachmann.

Where’s Gillespie County, TX? It’s missing from this list.

[interesting comment:]

Bryan Fernandez
Actually I believe someone made a list of most leftwing counties. The first 50 were Indian reservations, border colonias, and the poorest counties in the Deep South Black Belt. The next 50 was a mish-mash of poor and benighted and dangerous inner-city ghettos like Wayne County (Detroit) and Lake (Gary Indiana). Sorry son, college-towns and the Upper West Side are a small small slice of the Dem-voting populace. In reality, it’s the poor and uneducated non-English voters who are the bread-and-butter of the Dems. Hasn’t changed in a century.
