We WILL have elections. Stop panicking. We knew this was going to happen as soon as Obama got elected. There was no way the Republicans could stop it. Even had Coleman won in MN, one of the Maine sisters would have flipped. Now, do we roll over like the Eurorats and let them effect socialized medicine completely on us (which this isn’t yet) - or do we continue to fight like hell? This is not the public option - nor does it directly lead to it. Considerable work wil lhave to be done to get to that point from where we are today. Does it suck ass? Sure does. And it will certainly cost jobs and increase the size of the Beast. When people reealize that they still don’t have coverage yet are paying for it - then we’ll see how it goes. November is far off. Immigration reform is not supported by all the Dems in the Senate and will be filibustered. Cap and Tax died in the Senate. Reconciliation won’t work since the only bill came from the House and is DOA in the Senate. The GOP Senators now need to block the recon package from getting to Obama. That is quite doable. We need to make sure we have strong candidates against every Rat. Including those from so-called safe districts. 80% of the people were against this and after the taxes kick in - that will soar above 90%. Pelosi’s days are numbered. Reid’s days are numbered. And so are Obama’s. Capture both Houses in November - get the White House and 60 votes in the Senate and prosecute the vote-sellers.

Not panicking at all.

Don’t underestimate the fascists. It was a mistake every time it was done.

I wouldn’t bet on having elections this Nov.

They may schedule WWIII before then . . . and have a list of reasons to cancel it . . . with martial law implemented to make sure it sticks.

Besides . . . they have lots of holding pens to temporarily stuff dissenters in . . . temporarily . . . before their permanent ‘solution.’

I just don’t see why you have such faith that you can fix a broken system within a broken system. A Soros funded group has dumped a bunch of money into electing the people in each state who oversee elections - sorry I can’t remember the office though it might be the attorney general. Sorry again, I can’t find the link I saved - got it off a thread here. That’s just one reason the elections may not be the answer people think it will be.

Let me explain my view this way.... Husband and I watched the DVD of HBO movie on John Adams. The first episode included the oppression the colonists were suffering under the British. When we paused the movie, he and I both started to say the same thing which was that if the health bill (and immigration, etc.) pass, it will be worse now than it was then. And it will.

In addition to the oppression, BO is destroying our military capability, weakening our country in a multitude of ways and making it vulnerable to outside threats. The longer it goes on, the more difficult it will be to rebuild the strengths.

Americans need to remember where it all started and decide if liberty is worth fighting for again because that is situation we are in after today.
