I don’t think Udall ever thought about banning offshore oil drilling ...

Udall was the father of the federal surface mining bill signed by Jimmah Cahtah. It put 90 percent of the small family owner coal mines out of business.

Gee I really hope it didn't take a long time or was terribly painful.

Udall was largely responsible for the enactment of environmental laws in Johnson's Great Society legislative agenda, including the Clear Air, Water Quality and Clean Water Restoration Acts and Amendments, the Wilderness Act of 1964, the Endangered Species Preservation Act of 1966, the Land and Water Conservation [Fund] Act of 1965, the Solid Waste Disposal Act of 1965, the National Trail System Act of 1968, and Wild and Scenic Rivers Act of 1968.

He did everything he could to sink America.

Rest of what I think about him would get me banned...

The Udall family are typical of those who already "have theirs", and they'll do anything to keep others from moving up economically or socially.

Otherwise they're not bad sorts, but not to be trusted with anything of value.
