The Most Powerful Lobbying Tool...Prayer

I am sitting here at the dining room table -- more like the War Room -- planning with our SBA List team what could be the culminating battle of the fight to defeat this abortion-laden health care bill. Every minute, new information comes in about a wavering member of Congress or a tidbit of strategic information from Republican or Democratic leadership.

Having jumped in, I realize now it is important to step back out for just a few minutes.

Without prayer, I am 100 percent sure we will lose. With it, the consciences of wavering members can be lifted up and emboldened. While we are not a religious organization, we cannot succeed without prayer as the wind in our sails. So will you please take just a few minutes, join the 280,760 members of our SBA List family around our virtual dining room table and pray that this bill fails and our nation's children will be protected from the carnage that would result from its passage? This is a defining moment when prayer -- our most powerful lobbying tool-- cannot be left on the table.

The leaders -- especially Bart Stupak, Eric Cantor, Michele Bachmann, John Boehner and Mike Pence who have led the charge in these final days to protect Life and warn others that THIS IS NOT A GAME, need our support and prayer. Pray that they enter the battle this weekend with the same energy and courage and love they have shown thus far.

Also, here is a list of undecided Members of Congress that so you can pray for each by name. These folks are under intense pressure on all sides. Their struggles do not go unnoticed, but pray that through all the clutter they see the clearest reminder of what this is about: the babies that will be lost if this bill passes.

Heavenly Father, I am in total agreement with my friend in Christ.

Heavenly Father, your Word promises that if we ask ANYTHING according to your will, we have what we have asked. Lord Jesus, you promise that where two or more are gathered in your name you are in our midst. You promise that if we have faith as large as a grain of mustard seed You can move mountains to answer our prayers. You promise that the fervent effectual prayer of the righteous in Jesus Christ can accomplish much. Father thousands upon thousands of us are praying for Your mercy, for Your deliverance. Please, if it is Your will; have mercy upon us, SAVE US... deliver us from this evil, deliver us out of the hands of unrighteous, godless, wicked men and women in Congress and in the Senate, and deliver us out of the hands of our tyrannical "President" Obama.

Lord, he is a wicked, evil, treacherous, ungodly, man who does not know you. He hates you and he hates your people, the nation of Israel. Father everything coming out of his mouth regarding his and the democrats "healthcare" bill is a lie. He hates this nation which You have created and he is single handedly seeking to destroy it from within so that he along with his democrat, progressive minions in Congress and the Senate can turn our beloved country into a socialist, Marxist, communist "state".

If it is your will, save President Obama's soul, deliver him out of the control of the Devil, nevertheless, if he has perpetually hardened his heart as Pharaoh did, if he will not repent, if he will not turn to Christ from his wicked ways, please deliver us out of his hands and the hands of all those evil men and women who despise your grace, who follow him and who are doing his bidding in this "healthcare" bill as only You can.

Father, it is not Your will that our government takes money from your people to destroy unborn children by the millions. It is not Your will that our national government enslave it's own people for the sake of obtaining power and lording it over them. Therefore we humbly ask that you convict Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid along with all of the democrats who say they are going to vote "yes" on this wicked bill. Convict them of their sin, convict them of righteousness, convict them of Your judgment. Give them no peace, put the fear of God and falling into the hands of almighty God, into their hearts.

Please bind Satan’s hands in their lives, please tenderize their hearts, help them to wake up, to confess their sin and receive Your Son, the Lord Jesus Christ as their personal Savior and turn their hearts to vote "no"! Your Word says that "the heart of the king is in the hand of the Lord". Father, please bless and strengthen those courageous men and women, both democrat and republican alike, who have steadfastly rejected this bill and who have resisted voting "yes" with all of their hearts. Continually strengthen and help them to remain faithful to the last in this hour of temptation. Your Word says that NOTHING is too hard for You and what is impossible with man is possible with you.

Heavenly Father all of our efforts are hopeless. A spiritual battle for the very soul and future of our nation is being waged before our eyes and only You can give the victory: It is NOT by power, it is NOT by might, it is BY YOUR HOLY SPIRIT... only You can save us from this wickedness. Only You can deliver us and our descendants... please we humbly pray that You will deliver us from this evil, IF it is Your will to do so.

Father please turn their hearts away from this wickedness. Save them through your Son, and if it is your will, deliver us and this nation from this evil for we ask it in the powerful name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ... NEVERTHELESS, THY WILL BE DONE in this matter.

Father... if it is not Your will to deliver us. If it is Your will to use the very people our nation has wickedly put in power as your very insturments of judgment against us then THY WILL BE DONE. All we ask is that You give us the grace we need to endure this and to remain faithful to You and Your Holy Son, our Lord Jesus Christ, no matter what the cost, in the midst of it. Help us to remain salt and light in a dying world that is being prepared, by Satan for his coming servant; the Antichrist. We ask this all in Jesus Holy name, amen.

Take heart little flock, God has answered our prayers according to His sovereign will. His will is being done in the midst of this seeming tragedy.

God's Holy Word will not and can not be broken or nullified; the judgment of almighty God consisting of 3 1/2 years of tribulation and 3 1/2 years of "GREAT TRIBULATION", culminating with the physical return of our Lord Jesus Christ who will utterly judge and destroy ALL of His enemies and who will establish His kingdom upon the earth.

Before Christ returns, another will come before him, claiming to be the savior of mankind… The Antichrist IS COMING, evil incarnate; a human being indwelt and empowered by Satan himself who will ultimately control the lives of nearly every man woman and child on the planet while seeking to destroy everyone who refuses to follow, worship him or to receive his “Mark”. HE WILL establish a universal political, religious and economic system that all revolves around worshipping and serving him... a system which he will totally control; a system under which no one will be able to buy or sell ANYTHING, unless they accept his mark upon their forehead of hand... the "Mark of the Beast".

What does this have to do with the Obamacare health bill becoming law in America? Everything... in order for the Antichrist to take over, in order for the world to bend their collective knee to him, certain pieces of the puzzle MUST be put in place and established BEFORE he appears on the scene that are specifically designed to facilitate what he will accomplish according to the infallible and unbreakable Word of God.

What we see taking place here in America with this ungodly bill is the setting of the stage for the Antichrist's arrival. When the economy of the entire world, including that of America collapses, nearly all of mankind (save the elect) will clamor for a man to come and deliver them from their money mess. This the Antichrist will do. He will have a universal solution to the collective problems of the world and all people will have to do in order to benefit and participate in it is to take his mark and forfeit their soul (such a deal!). The Antichrist is coming, what we are witnessing in America is the preparation for his coming and the Word of God can not be broken.

What can we who know the Lord Jesus Christ do in the midst of this evil and perverse generation? Stay faithful to the Lord Jesus Christ and to the truth of His Gospel of salvation. By the power of the Holy Spirit of God, live godly, good and righteous lives as "salt and light". And lastly, be of good cheer and hope knowing that the evil we see before us proclaims the fact that while the Antichrist is coming, our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ is ALSO coming and He will be victorious over Satan, the Antichrist, his false prophet and everyone who rejects Him as their Savior.

While the destruction of America, in spite of all of our concerted efforts is heartbreaking and painful to watch, those reading this who have believed in/accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as their Savior can take heart because the war is not over; God Himself has told us that Jesus Christ will ultimately be victorious over Satan and all of his minions, be they in the spiritual, or physical world!

MARANATHA, the Lord is coming... sooner than anyone can begin to imagine.
