You can stay here outside of houston until you figure it out.

Per Constitution (as I understand it) lawsuits between states and the feds - especially over Constitutional issues - move rather rapidly into the domain of the Supreme Court.

Immediate goal by states would likely be to get law (or major portions) placed on hold until a full ruling by Supremes

There are many of them in the north Dallas/Richardson/Plano, Irving areas. I’m sure north Austin has many also.(Austin is quite a liberal town, could use an infusion of good conservatives!)

Texas can certainly secede from the Union. Any state can.

I am so weary about now.

Honey, it's going to be like this every day for the rest of your life - or at least until the secession movement takes hold, and we create a new nation for ourselves to live in.

White babies are scheduled to become a minority of all births in the USA sometime in the next two or three years - and, at that point, the GOP is doomed.

The GOP might still be able to win nationally in the 2012/2014/2016 timeframe, but as you move out towards 2018/2020, it becomes mathematically impossible for the GOP to continue winning nationally.

The future of the USA [as we knew it] is Chavezian, Castroite Mugabe-ism.

So when your energy returns, start thinking about how you're going to use it productively.

I hear Texas can also divide into five states if it wanted, which would add five red state senators to congress.

The feds ain't gunna do squat about this so it falls to the states to protect their citizens,,,

If the states won't do it then the citizens will just have to protect themselves by any means necessary...

Roger That!

I’m curious about your sources on these counts. So far my count is 10 AGs that are publicly on record or have their state legislatures ordering them to sue - Texas, Florida, South Carolina, South Dakota, North Dakota, Nebraska, Utah, Washington, Pennsylvania, and Idaho.

Not that I doubt that a lot more than 10 will be involved eventually. I’m just wondering if you three have heard of any more states for sure.

Also, 36 states is actually more than enough to call a constitutional convention - only 2/3rds, or 34 states, are required to convene a “convention for proposing amendments”, while 3/4ths, or 38 states, are required to ratify an amendment. I wonder if there are 34 state legislatures willing to get on board for such a thing....

Funny how Fox has a map of states opposing Obamacare, but it omits Texas.

I refuse to get my hopes up again. I am resolved and making plans to leave. I can always come back. Millions should have been headed to DC right now but I guess Nascar was on today.

It doesn’t matter whether CALI joins - if the Supreme Court puts the “law” on hold, it’s on hold for all the states.

I guarantee flaming socialist Connecticut AG Richard Blumenthal, who is running as the RAT US Senate candidate, will not do anything to thwart the Unconstitutional, socialist health care BS.

I saw a map on Fox News (probably during Special Report with Bret Baier) a few days ago that showed all the states that were onboard... I swear one of those states was Connecticut, but now I can't find a map or list of these states anywhere.

If moving to another state is the only way we can get out from under ObamaCare, we WILL move to another state...

Do you have a link for that map... I've looked for it and haven't been able to find it. Thanks...

There may be an online version, but I have seen it only on TV.

Texas doesn’t have a scheduled legislative session this year (only in odd years). BUT Perry is going to call for a special session. Texas really should be orange.
